Maybe Dolphins would give us Waddle for our QB ALLEN have them think he is Buffalos Allen.:dancing:

Remember this was just a big Par 3. Regulation courses are 6200 yards and higher. He is a 2 handicap when playing on the big courses.

Took me 2-3 months on a driving range before I went to a real course. My very first front 9 I shot 53. I was PO'd but guys in the know said it was great and I'd get better. They were right but I wish they would have told me how growing old sucks for distance.

This trade is moot point Miami would never do this trade, I'm not sure Waddle is worth that new contract he got he seems to get nicked up often.

It's starting to feel like it's a lot more than they're saying. Kind of like somebody saying it's just a cold, but yesterday they checked into the hospital and put them on a ventilator..... That's how it's starting to feel with Wilson. It's just a minor injury that has been plaguing him for 2 months. That's not a minor injury at that point.

Rex Ryan said this morning that if Tua is out for the year then the number one choice the Dolphins will go for is Russell Wilson. Ryan said the Steelers should ask for a first round draft choice for Wilson, if the Dolphins think that they are a legitimate contender then they will give that up to get a starting QB.

I might agree with Ryan if Wilson was healthy, but he isn't, and who really knows when he will be. Even if he was, I can't see the Dolphins giving up a 1st round pick for him. I'd rather see the Steelers try to deal Wilson for Waddle, because getting a WR2 is their most pressing need right now. Both scenarios are unlikely though

Send him away from the team. I had high hopes. Not anymore. Maybe we can get something back for him if we’re lucky and find a desperate team.

Tua was just placed on IR for at least 4 games maybe for the rest of the season. They are a good team but their season is over if their only plan is to march Skyler Thompson out on the field for the next several weeks. The Dolphins are going to have to bring someone else in.

If Wilson knows he is nailed to the bench, and if he knows that MIA offers a chance for him to play and the Steelers won't, he'll waive the no trade clause. If Wilson doesn't play this year, his open market value in 2025 is nothing.

Wilson is a "short timer", so it is possible.

Would take serious incentive to let him go and leave us with no serious backup. Because of that, probably no trade, but the Khan man does the unexpected.

Opinion: I`m in favor if we got serious draft compensation because we probably cannot win a Super Bowl with current QB situation (unless Fields somehow surprises) and am in favor of positioning ourselves to move up in a future draft. So, in the meantime, would like to see draft capital be accumulated with the goal of eventually picking up a potential franchise QB. If Fields works out, draft capital is there for some other positions.

"Sounds like a plan" says Kevin Bacon, LOL.

At this point in time with Fields he most certainly is not nailed to the bench

Especially since Tua said he has no plans on retiring

    Other than that great plan

Im still in high opinion of drafting our future franchise qb. Hopefully, Fields or Wilson can give us a couple of good yrs, so we can properly groom a new qb.
Never been a big fan of throwing rookie qb into the fire. Very few succeed.

Of course it isnt easy. You will have failures along the way. Not easy spending $60 million on a veteran qb either. Im old school, patience. I dont care to rush perfection.
Thats what i tell my wife, im a work in progress.

How many Super Bowls have Steelers won with a free agent qb??
I know I know, we live in a different era. The age of I want it now.

What I am saying is the no-trade clause is irrelevant.

if the Steelers see Wilson as a possible starter or necessary backup they won’t want to trade him, regardless of the clause

if the Steelers decide they have no plans for Wilson and decide he’ll ride the pine, the no trade clause won’t matter. Wilson won’t want to stay and will waive it.

I want Wilson to start... the Steelers offense is not sustainable... we need more TD's.

Wilson's deep ball to Pickens will change everything.
