weekly winner and a yearly winner).



This weeks Game is:



Pittsburgh vs LA Chargers



This week's tiebreaker is first downs by the Steelers.

The rules are simple. Whoever predicts the correct winner with the


score closest to the actual score wins. For example if the score is


Pittsburgh 28 Cincinnati 21 The method of determining your score is


to take the value of the difference of your guess of the Pittsburgh score


and the value of the difference of your guess of the opponent score.


You also must pick the correct winner to make your pick valid. In case


of a tie, the tiebreaker is used.


For example if TTFs prediction is 35-21 Steelers he would be 7 points


from the actual score…..35-28=7 21-21=0 7+0=7.


If Ray Ds prediction is 30-18 Steelers he would be 5 points from the


score and he would beat TTF………30-28=2 21-18=3 2+3=5. If either


had picked the Bengals they would have automatically lost due to the


fact that they were not the winning team.


In the unlikely event of a tie (YES Donovan it could happen) we will


just go with closest to the actual score.


I will be awarding points for the first 10 places and including a bonus


of 3 additional points for making a perfect prediction. If there is a tie for a perfect pick 1 additional point will be added to have a true winner. I will track


cumulative point totals and the number of times you make the top 10.


This contest will end after the steelers last game of the season.


The deadline to make your picks is 1 minute before the scheduled kickoff.

Very wise. I made my prediction without knowing Herbert was injured, but I'll still stick with it assuming that he can play

Looks like we are 2 point favorite with over/under 35.5. I'd take the over and the Steelers.

I put San Diego at first out of habit. Then I put Vegas mixing them up with the Raiders.

 

I miss the St. Louis Rams.

 

I'm old enough to remember when the Jets were called the Titans and when the Dallas Texans moved to KC and were renamed the Chiefs.
Moving on to the Chargers game, this is the second straight week that the Chargers have to travel 3,000 miles to play a game. Add the fact that Herbert is a little bit gimpy I am picking the Steelers.

What is Herbert's status? Dude dropped 41 points on us in last meeting. Hopefully the new additions to the secondary will prevent a repeat performance.
