    Correct.

Compare that to the likes of Bryce Young. Hell, compare that to the likes of Trevor Lawrence, the only QB from the woeful 2021 Class that not only has stayed with his original team but received a contract extension. Lawrence is 0-2 while Fields is 2-0.

People expecting Fields to transform into Josh Allen and go out "gunz a blazin" should look at what happened to Fields when he tried that in 2022. Didn't work then for that isn't Fields' game at the moment.

I think highly of Rudolph, but better than Wilson? I don't think so.

Sarcasm brother. You can make a case of Mason fighting it out with the Eagles backup, for the prize of second best backup QB in the league

For the record, Rudolph was backup QB to Roethlisberger for 4 years. 2018-2021.

13-20, 117 yards, 1 TD. That better not represent JF "balling".

Stats line don't tell the whole story for Fields yesterday....I mean,he lost a 51 yards pass and a TD pass on 2 different play in the second quarter.....It was a killer

"Balling" relative to what Justin Fields was at Chicago. Mind you, Fields' stat sheet would look a lot better if not for silly penalties by Broderick Jones and the Offense. Not convinced?!

Again, "balling" is relative to what Fields was before arriving to Pittsburgh. As I already posted, Coaching matters... a lot. Caleb Williams is learning this the extremely hard way.

We weren’t actually all that conservative. We just kept shooting ourselves in the foot and knocking us off schedule.

1 td in 2 regular season games and played a lot in preseason games. This is not my definition of balling out

Fields has exceeded my low expectations of him. He does well when running game is a threat and he has time like he did in first half. He stares down the receiver on set plays. If teams sell out to shut down the running game and give him no time to throw by crowding the box like Denver did in second half, he turned into a Trubisky. He takes too much time to throw and is not good at reading defense. I wouldn't trade Russell to Miami just yet.

There isn't a QB alive who is winning games for the Steelers if he's gotta put up 30+.

This is true… but we are reaching for positive things. Im sure other qbs have deflated stats also coz of penalties.
Fields threw a couple of nice balls. Hopefully this team keeps gelling and the offense can catch up with our defense. But as far as balling out coz he isn’t turning the ball over?!
    Standards are definitely set low

"Off schedule" is the best way to describe the Steelers offense in the second half.

Sometimes Coaches only know they way . The best Coaches really learn they players and adapt from there. The greats also look at weaknesses from they foe add that in . They also bring a part of what they vision is and this creates true attacks to me..

It can happen to anyone but the first two games, the penalties were catastrophic for the stat lines of Fields and Pickens....Just absolutely brutal...Fields did more good things than bad things after 2 games and his stat line deserves 100% to be better...For the second half, it's much more on Tomlin than on Fields....Tomlin wanted the offense to protect the ball at all costs with the way our defense was playing

I hope he continues to be better and his good play will eventually show up in his stat line

Dude we pick up 9 yards on first down then commit a hold on second down. We did that crap to ourselves over and over again the last two weeks.
