I never thought Williams was a generational talent. I also think that Fields is better than the rap he's gotten. He's still only 25 and has at least shown some growth in the first two games of the season (not holding onto the ball as long as Chicago, 100% completion percentage on quick passes under 2.5 seconds, really strong accuracy on balls downfield, staying away from dangerous throws, etc.). I think there's a better chance than not at this point that Fields can turn into a quality starting option for us. He doesn't have to be Mahomes or Burrow... I think he can turn into a Jalen Hurts-type, even if its a slightly lesser version. That would be more than good enough for us to have a strong offense and a team worthy of winning games in the post season.
