Very happy with this win and they did a lot of good things...this team is a lot better than last year but man Tomlin needs to bring the refs in practice this week like he has done in the past, because some of the penalties were catastrophic on offense....It cost at least 7-11 points in the first half and a few first downs in the second half

Don't forget last week was the same. Reversed a very long Pickens reception,.

That was a bogus PI call on Pickens. All the refs in practice won't help a bad call on the field.

I dont know about that. I watched it a couple of times and he does clearly push off without full extension.

i thought it was full arm extension that was the deciding fact. cause they were going back n forth down the field

What about the call on Jones that a 50 yard play was nullified? Overall, the steelers had like 6-7 penalties in offense and several in that nullified good plays by the steelers and the majority of the calls were correct

The Steelers need to clean their game up significantly. JP got two or three holding or pass interference penalties. Broderick Jones has several holds. Discipline is important.

I think as soon as Justin Fields realizes he’s a Steeler and this team is pretty good. He’s going to adjust and be kind of scary. They need to Let him play and get him another wide receiver they double Pickens and we have no one

I think he's really close to breaking out. Lots of good things have happened so far, he just needs to turn the corner (and the team needs to help him out a bit by not getting flagged on damn near every big play he makes lol). I don't think it's been perfect so far (obviously), but I don't know why some are in a rush to ship him for Wilson. I'd like to see a couple more games while the OL gels, Smith settles in, etc.

To be fair one of the neutral zone penalties on Highsmith was bogus as well because you can clearly see the tackle flinch. Announcers even called that one out. I don't think any former ref was on the side of that pick penalty.

Pickens can't buy a break on his big plays this year!

The hold on Porter was weak. The illegal hands to the face was pure fantasy. He did nothing wrong on that play.

Yes the steelers had some bad calls against them, but many of those penalties were deserved.....

Waste of time to bring the officials into practice. That isn’t gonna help with all the bad calls they made.

It helped the Steelers last year and it helped in other years too...Yes there will always be bad calls but the majority of the Steelers that the Steelers had on offense vs Denver were correct calls

I guess it wouldn't hurt, but IMO a good number of those calls were just bad officiating.

Nobody can call it one sided either. The broncos were penalized more for almost 50 more yards.

Please read what I wrote...I mentioned that the majority of the calls by the refs for our offense were correct.

I will have to give you the benefit of the doubt because I never actually remember seeing those plays. Going by the stats only. Will rewatch game for sure and get a better perspective.

That's true. it was kind of frustrating to see so many freakin flags flyin on both sides. Just let them play the GD game ffs

Not because the broncos had more penalty yards than us (it was mostly because of the 2 pass interference against them) that the steelers were clean...It was ugly and stop looking for forums fight for nothing it's embarrassing at this point.
