And to me that should include drafting a QB in rounds 3-6 that can be a viable backup right away and could develop into a starter should Ben succumb to the injury bug as he has over the last few seasons. There aren't any sure thing QBs that I would take in the first round but there does appear to be some solid mid-round talent that could be developed into quality starters. We missed on Kirk Cousins last year and if we could go back, how many of us would take Russell Wilson over Sean Spence in the third round? I know, I know, hindsight is 20/20.

With all the needs we have, I'd be very disappointed if we spend a pick any higher then the 5th on a QB. Go get Moore, he's a very serviceable back up. Lets keep the higher picks for guys who will see the field a hell of a lot more then a back up QB.

I think Moore would be a solid backup QB and I'm fine with a 5th round pick for a QB. I actually think there may be some QBs with potential left in the 5th round. SBD in his mock has us taking Zac Dysert. I could live with that. He's very similar to Ben and could be developed.
