Yeah I figured as much, Browns and Cincy have the most cap room of any team in the league so figured it would be one of them. I'd rather it be the Browns, having to cover AJ and Wallace will give teams fits. Hopefully some other team comes in and swoops him up, I'm sure BA wants him.

It would suck more to sign him and have him underperform again.

Yeah Cleveland seems like a great place for the overpaid and under performed. And if we fix our D line they'll never have time for a Wallace route to develop any way.

    Take him.

    It wouldn't affect us any.

The Clowns would be overpaying for a one-trick pony who could never hurt us since, in Lebau's defense, we rarely give up td's over the top.

We aren't going to pay Wallace similar to AB so might as well send him to a team with an aging quarterback (in his second year) that isn't going to threaten us in the division any time soon.

I guess Haslem's approach is going to mirror Daniel Snyder's? Awesome!

Up until the FA period begins and players start meeting with teams/etc...EVERY team that needs a WR is going to be "associated" with or mentioned with Wallace's name. Thats how it always seems to be with a number of "bigger/name" players. Just add Cleveland to the growing list...

I'd rather see Wallace take big money from a team like Cleveland, Miami, etc than go to a team like New England (who could supposedly let Welker and Lloyd walk this year).

It would sucks to see him in Cincinnati, but I can't see it happening. They're similar to us in terms of free agent signings. The word here in Cincinnati is that they're going to spend money this offseason but it will likely be to retain Michael Johnson, extend Geno Atkins, and get a running back like Reggie Bush. Wallace would do well in that offense because AJ Green attracts so much attention, however Andy Dalton throws a terrible deep ball.

That article is dumb. No way in hell will the Ravens so unbelievably stupid and not use the exclusive franchise tag Flacco until they can get a deal done.

And even IF the Ravens are so collossally stupid and the Browns make Flacco an offer - do you guys really think he'll be dumb enough to go to Cleveland?

Good riddance. I've never liked or respected Wallace and never will. The guy whines about losing focus when he's getting more targets than ever before in his career. He's a spoiled, arrogant, selfish POS. Good riddance, I hope he gets half of what the Steelers offered him last off-season.

you are probably right , but i'm not sold on flacco at all , for me is similar to schaub he had a good oline and good wrs that catch all the hail mary he throw , i'm not so sure the rats would be stupid to take two first rounders and save 20plus milion on him , though choice

it will hurt us more than you guys think. Don't believe me ask A Brown on how Wallace can stretch a field and leave you open

The only issue with Flacco throwing to Wallace is this. Flacco is accustomed to receivers actually going up and FIGHTING FOR THE BALL WHEN IT'S IN THE AIR! Wallace is incapable of doing that.

The Browns definitely have the money to throw at wallace. But I'm not sold that he goes there. I don't think he would want to go to cleveland, they have no track record of winning in almost a decade, and they dont have a QB yet. Weeden is not ben. I'm more worried he ends up in Cincy. But my hope is he ends up in the NFC or atleast out of our division, maybe the dolphins?

I think Wallace goes to the highest bidder, period. He's all about the money. He'd go to the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL if they came to the table with the biggest contract. I hope the diva gets paid and is never heard from again!

Yea you're probably right on that one. I know from his twitter the last few seasons that he spends alot of his off season time in Florida more specifically Miami. I think Miami wins the bidding war and he will want to go there any way.

    You're missing the big picture.

It's not about retaining a player. It's about re-signing a player at the right value.

It'll hurt our TEAM if we overspend on one guy who stretches the field when, by all accounts, that's really all he brings to the table.

I think we all want Wallace back -- just not at the price he's asking. I like Wallace and I'd like hime here but, if he were to leave, I'd love to see a division rival overspend on him.
