    Not likely.

Moreover, what is more difficult to find; a Star level QB or a star level EDGE?!

Well, I'd disagree... Not the "he hasn't done enough in the playoffs" part, as that part is true, but I think he is worth the money. If he got to play with a defense like ours (healthy Watt) and the team didn't have to rely solely on Dak, he might be more successful. He averages 280 yards per game, has a 2 to 1 TD to INT ratio, and a 92 QB rating in the postseason for his career. That is actually pretty solid ball, and certainly good enough to win with a halfway decent defense. I think he could be really successful here knowing that he doesn't have to play hero ball to win in the postseason. Just my opinion though.

I put his opinion on the same shelf as skip Bayless. Pretty much it doesn't mean much to me. It's nice that he gave us a good grade, but imo unless our defense starts putting up touchdowns it's going to be struggle city in the Burgh.

It would be nice to see the offense come together to change my mind however.

They are again going the archaic route, play tough defense and run run the ball, play action keeping the score low. This offense is behind the times. Can they go toe to toe with the big guns and score points in bunches? If they get behind can they muster up a comeback? The dinosaur age is over but it seems like our Steelers are still there and just can't get into the present.

I will leave it at that...

And when they had the killer B's on offense they didn't win anything either .

I think they are here by necessity. I think they look at their roster and say hey we have a top tier defense on paper anyways like the mid nineties. We have 2 good running backs with a should be good oline with some tight ends with WR help over the top.

Add a mobile QB that can work off playaction and move the chains and they can win some games.

I really think the current setup is because they know they couldn't land a top QB.

People btching about Roethlisberger but where are they at now lol?

I'd still take a tin man Roethlisberger over what this is.

    Maybe they'll prove me wrong

When they had the Killer B’s on offense we had no defense at that time. In addition we either weren’t healthy come playoff time or we would always lose because of efficiency problems on offense. When you build your team around offense you can not turn the ball over. We always had a problem with that in big games.

Drafting Pickett was a set back. Also keeping Canada around to long as well.

Ben was finished. Couldn't move at all. What I don't understand is why they put a scrub in front of him in Green, a rookie who didn't want to play center and he showed in bunches and crunches that they should have listened to him. Add rookie left tackle and it seem like a bit of a sabotage ( que The Beasty Boys) against Ben.

They need to draft a franchise QB in 2025.

I'm glad Dak re-signed with Dallas, now we won't have to worry about the Steelers doing something dumb like signing him in free agency.

Cowherd totally dismissed the Steelers at the start of his show saying they don't matter and are not for real. He watched Titans and Bears instead. :roflmao: "Any team that has to rely on Field Goals and great defense to win games is not for real."

But yet his golden boys Herbert only threw for 144 yards and Nix for 173 yards.

Last year after 14 games, the steelers had their worst PPG since 1970,so if this year, our offense is not better,my god!

Can't wait until Steelers beat Cowherd's golden boys....Payton, Nix, Harbaugh and Herbert in back to back games.

Cowherd and J-mac are writing off Steelers again. Steelers are the only 2-0 team that didn't make his top 10 heirarchy. Cowherd says Chargers will win even without Herbert. Steelers have no offense and are pretenders.

It's not just Cowherd... most media talking heads are not taking Steelers seriously. I like this.

Steelers are the only 3-0 team that didn't make Cowherd's Top 10 hierarchy. :lolol:

This time, he didn't even mention the Steelers. Mentioned the Saints and Cowboys.... but no Steelers. :roflmao:
