It's good to see Bradshaw looking healthy on the pre-game show.

 

I hear you, My wife is upstairs in the sewing room. Just bought her a 5000 Bernina. Worth it. I am in the downstairs man den waiting on the game. Glad Fields is starting and hoping he continues to do so. I assume this means Allen is elevated to the back-up today.

 

I agree, just scrolling through a YT and a regular podcaster said just the opposite, that even if he plays lights out Russ will still be the starter for the rest of the season. Man just throw conventional wisdom out, if it's working go with it.

Tomlin has shown that he's more than willing to throw "conventional wisdom" out the window if a guy is playing well and they're winning games. Case in point, Rudolph last year

 

If Fields gets the win today and Tomlin stays with him next week many on here will complain about it. If Fields gets the win today and Tomlin starts Wilson next week many on here will complain about it. Many will actually complain either way.

I think we only need average QB play. The OL needs to have a good game. Let Najee and Warren do their thing. Let the defense do their thing. Zero turnovers and limit our penalties and we should win today.

 

I agree with most of what you're saying, but I think Fields will have to play better than average (for him anyway) if they hope to win
