A bit off topic, but with the realignment of the college conferences the late west coast games that rarely got a lot of attention, are now being televised nationwide via streaming and cable. East coast teams getting games that start at 11 or 12 will be happening more, and as the money grows this will as well.

They had also score a special team TD in 2017 and a pick 6 in 2022,so they had more non offensive TD in the first quarter in week 1 that offensive TD since 2009!

Pacing, drinking mugs of coffee, wondering who is going to QB, thankful to have the Steelers on today.

If we go down 7-0 early please try not to run around with your hair on fire like you all do every year. Toward the end you’ll all be going zoinks we have a chance. Here we go. It might be here we gone but keep it together and show some maturity. T’s up and pointed.

Yeah, it's all growing and I imagine the potential for growth is getting bigger all the time. Even over here on 'secondary' sports channels there's college football to watch. It's becoming more noticable.

Showing maturity is not a fun way to watch the Steelers, IMO.

And if he has a good game today, he will stay the starter until he doesn’t play well.

More than likely. You have to stay with the hot hand. The Steelers don't owe Wilson anything, he hasn't thrown a single pass for them in a regular season game yet

Exciting! After experiencing WR bubble screens and Jet sweeps as our mani first plays the last few years, this rather mundane often used play is a breath of fresh air, lol.

Not sure but I think Mitch's first game with us was a Bengal game which we won. He threw a 1 yard TD but rest of scoring was the D and Boz (of course). Stats: 21-38 194 yards. Kind of hoping Fields has no need to throw the ball 38 times. If I recall Trub was very vanilla. I'm thinking and hoping Fields has a better first start then Trub.

I'm all set for another season of wife screaming at me, "the windows are open". My favorite from her, "if you keep acting like a child I'm turning off TV". Thankfully she is out for day.

I know the traditional logic is you don't lose your job because of injury, but do we really know what we have? If its working with Fields and the locker room really seems to like this guy, they go with it.

I'll be rooting for a guy I'd run away from as fast as I can if I saw him in an alley.;)

Our offense was complete garbage in that game too....Like only 9 first down in regulation time...The offense need to be better today!

Like I just added to my original post, the Steelers don't owe Wilson a thing, he hasn't proven anything here yet. If Fields plays well, you keep him in there

I am pulling for Fields to keep the job. Best thing that could happen to the Steelers is if Fields ends up being the QB of the future.
