Pat Freiermuth was failed more by both Pickett and Canada more so than his health. Granted, his health is a concern but not having a consistent Offensive Gameplan with a good QB is going to severely hurt any Receiving Threats Production. Now, with Fields starting Sunday, will Pat have a field day given Fields' history of targeting Tight Ends?! Time to find out.

 

I think this was needed in today's league. Glad they got this done.

The elephant in the room is the QB position. I would love to see Justin Fields just tearing it up but I realize my vision might be tainted by rose colored glasses.

 

You know that Muth only started half the games last season. $12M for a part time starter is over paying.

 

Dude is mediocre. I like him as a person and a 2nd TE, but he’s nothing special.

But I’m judging him from the Canaduh offense with some very poor QBs. Too bad I’m expecting something close to what we’ve had the last few years and this kid won’t be able to have the chance to spread his clipped wings and fly.

Cannot believe I’m barely excited for Sunday. Like the first time in my life I’ve felt this low about my team. This must be what it’s been like yo be a Jets and a Browns fan all of these years. Yuck…. Maybe I am a front runner.
