    he will be starting soon.

Should have resigned him here, I had said that in January.

time will tell, stay tuned, we can all watch and learn and arm chair QB thru the season.

I think he will take that job ultimately in TN, he is better than Levis.

    Tomlin blew this one......

Good for Mason. Watched a little bit of the Titans game last Sunday, and he showed well. Hope to see him starting eventually

Rudolph had a nice run at the end of the season, but I doubt he will ever be a long-term starter in the league.

It would be hilarious if Rudolph led the Titans to the Super Bowl this year. If this happens.... Popcorn should be fired immediately. Hell, Popcorn should have been fired 7 years ago.

Rudolph = Landry Jones 2.0. He is nothing but a career backup. Facts. Accept it and move on.

I'm not even going to mention his name anymore. There's a loyal contingent of his on here that gets all butt hurt anytime someone offers any criticism towards him, however warranted it may be. He's here to stay, and complaining about it doesn't change a damn thing. Everyone here already knows were I stand on him, so there's no point of me beating a dead horse. I'll leave that up to some of the other fellows around here for now on

I would have been fine having Mason back as a back up for sure. I don't think he will be starting in Tennessee unless Levis fails super hard, and I wouldn't expect Rudolph to be highly successful as a full time starter with their roster. I fully appreciate that he (pretty miraculously) saved our season last year, but a really small sample size (for someone that realistically was fighting to stay in the league at all prior to last season) doesn't prove that he is a starting caliber player. Not a single team in the league viewed him as a potential starter even after 2023. He was brought into Tennessee to compete for the back up job. He won, as you would have expected him to against Malik Willis (who by the way is likely in his last season as an NFL player on a 53 man roster, just like I predicted he would be pre-draft), but he is still just a back up. A solid one, but I can't blame Tomlin and Co. for trying to improve that position.

I was happy to see Rudolph succeed in 2023. I will be happy for him if he succeeds in Tennessee, but I don't agree with some of the people on here that think he is a starter, and a quality one at that, on a long term basis.

Happy for Mason. He had a Cinderella run at the end of last year. But he also had chances with us, especially in 2019, and didn’t consistently deliver. Hope he does well in TN

You're comparing a player that is a backup to taking over a team and taking them to a superbowl. So two things to get the job done. To just us winning the AFC..... it's a lot of a difference.

By the way, I'm up for bringing in a cry baby reaction for you and a couple others around here.

Nick Foles accomplished this recently. So it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Nick Foles won a Super Bowl seven years ago. He's not a career back up.

Jeff Hostettler, Kurt Warner, and Nick Foles say hold my beer. The Steelers had a 1st round grade on Rudolph, but Tomlin kept him from not developing because 8-8 was more important than finding another franchise QB. Tomlin has yet to prove if he can identify a franchise QB.

    he can't

he rode the Ben wave, that is all he could do. that and the Cowher / Lebeau legacy defense. Yes, he drafted Timmons and Woodley, that was a great 1/2 combo for a few years.

but what else - honestly, long term. Lots of 1 and done's, in the playoffs. Never got serious about the offense and a talented OC. and the D - all the coordinators sit under him.

that is what the history books are writing thus far......
