New year and OC, Same old Offense.

The moto of aim for 9-8 and get drubbed in the first round of playoffs is hardly elite. Tomlin should have been fired day after last afc champ game. Team offense has been unwatchable since 2019 season and ben injury. WE need an offensive coach.

 

How did offense look in those 4 losses and the playoff game? Enough said

So every teams that doesn't win a SB has a bad offense....no matter what they did earlier. So everyone but KCs offense sucks??? Well hell it's not too bad now that you put it that way. At least only one team has a better offense than us .....if we go by what You're saying.

 

One of the nuns told me that once the Eagles cut Kenny, the Steelers are going to try him out at WR.

 

I remember when all the whining was about Today Haley. Then we got Ben's QB Coach for an OC, then Canada. If Smith doesn't work out I'm starting the movement to bring back Haley.

Haley was the last good one. Fichtner sucked and Canada was worse. Hopefully Smith can turn that trend around.

 

I liked Haley too felt like his personality was just to strong for Ben they couldn’t co exist

All the Tomlin fans waving pom poms. The teams offense has not just been horrible the last 4 years but a laughingstock. Only game we ever win is a super low score when d score points too. The Mason Rudolph games at end of year were the exception against back up qbs and crappy teams. Tomlin is washed up and not elite anymore.

 

I mean, Pickett was hot garbage... is it possible that both are to blame in some regard? Lmao its no coincidence that we started scoring the second we fired our bum OC and sat our bum QB.

 

It's been bad. We've essentially been outside the top 20 in points and yards in all 4 years. The only anomaly was Ben's 2020 campaign where we were the 12th best scoring offense, but aside from that it has been bad. Canada's best season was 21st in points and 23rd in yards. Yikes lol

 

I think KFP threw for 300 game after Canada was relieved of his duties. I am not arguing with you. KFP does not play for Steelers anymore.I only root for Steelers

I agree, but I could see that coming for a mile. A young Qb that has just won two SB, and one against the offense of the new OC that they are bringing in to teach him.....plus they just got rid of Ben's buddy Arians. Although even if He won't admit it, and I don't know if He doesn't, he learned a lot from Haley.

You can hire the best chef in the business but if the owner of the restaurant can’t manage the place correctly and gives that chef plastic knives to cook, not much the Chef can do.

It’s obvious they hired Arthur Smith because he can run an offense that is managed by the QB and run heavy. That’s all you’re gonna see. I find it hilarious that the year the Steelers choose to go this route, they don’t pick up their starting running backs 5th year option.

Maybe the Steelers are tanking without making it too obvious.
