SB XXX comes to mind. Stopped Emmitt Smith all day long and gave the game away.

HA! I was just about to reply with something very similar. :-D

Steelers let Arians go He goes on to be coach of the year. Good for him, but it means nothing to me.
Big ben gets hurt. Comes back and plays bad. Yeah, that sucked.
Ravens win the Super Bowl Booo! That sucked, but hopefully they suffer from an epic SB hangover next year.
Bettis misses the HOF Meh, he'll get in next year and we'll celebrate.
Steelers have countless injuries Yeah, this year was a bad one on the injury front, but it was what it was.

I felt like the Ravens winning the Super Bowl was a very fitting ending to what was just a ****ty season to be a Steeler fan.

Yeah, but when he said "in history" he clarified it to "in recent years." :hmmm:

There is no doubt in my mind that the Rams would have destroyed our secondary.

This season sucked. I still beleive the Steelers were a better football team than the Ravens.

I will not be watching ESPN or the NFL Network for at least a week, hopefully everything dies down then.

An 8-8 non-playoff team was better than the Super Bowl champion? Really?

So you really think the Ravens were the best team in football? :roflmao:

We beat them with Charlie Batch for God sake, and should have done it with Bryon as well.

It certainly feels like one of the worst. Maybe not as bad as our SB hangover year, but close. I just felt that they had so much potential at the beginning...

I had plenty of moments when I thought the Steelers would make a deep playoff, but it wasn't mean to be I guess.

There was just "something" about this year from the very start for me that just didn't feel "right" I guess. I think it was because I was so worried that we didn't make any changes on defense and ultimately it did prove to lose us some games. Hopefully next year we get it together but as of this moment I really don't feel like we will. I'm just very depressed but I'm naturally a pessimist any way.

The key to any year is Ben staying healthy. Look at the QB's in the playoffs this year, they all got through the season healthy, even Rodgers and he was sacked 51 times!

I never said the Ravens were the best team in football but to say that the Steelers were better than them this year is an absolute joke. Take your black and gold glasses off.
