Who could be a surprise cut for the steelers?

Who do you think could be added to this roster that is not with us right now by trade or waiver?

A slot CB and a WR is a need right now.....

 

I don't know if it would be a surprise or not but I think this is possible Calvin Austin is cut....He did nothing on preseason...nothing

 

Beanie Bishop he faded after all the hype early on.

What do you all think of Rodney Williams? Just read a coupe of X posts and they seem to think he is better than Heyward. I have not seen anything from Williams

I think we bring in a cut for a back up C. McCollum doesn't make the team.

Lee is on the PS. Showed nothing to warrant a spot on the 53. Loudermilk is ahead of him and he still may be PS bound.

Robinson is a better ST and LB than Matakevich, so he makes the team. I think both still make it.

We will put one of Arnold or Bishop on the PS and bring in a slot CB.

It is possible we keep Leal as a DL/OLB hybrid and bring in a 4th OLB from the wire (and cut Matakevich to do so).

The main shake up I think is possible is a WR trade. Aiyuk or otherwise, I think we have our eyes outside or current WR room looking for options.

 

Not on the roster. Heyward is a better player and has more ST value. Not to mention he can be a FB in a pinch, and be used in different areas on offense. Not sure that Williams has shown enough to warrant consideration for the 53.

 

I believe they keep 4 Rbs this year. Otherwise...I agree with most of this

Yea, I think Colleto will make a spot as a FB/ST game.

 

LOL... I suck at being a fan, I have no idea who TJ Luther is.

 

I was so disappointed in what I didn't see out of Jack Colleto in Preseason. I was hoping to see some I-Formation out of the Steelers offense the preseason.

 

For as often as FB is used, I can't believe Heyward can't fill that role. At least that would justify keeping him at this point. What is he for?
