I chose Wilson, reason being more experienced and has at one time proven he can play at NFL level. Other choices not so much.

It was Wilson the day we signed him regardless of all those talking head articles.

Whether you agree or disagree, there really is no debate. Russell Wilson will be the starter week 1.

Fields reminds me of KFP with his problems and traits. But, once again Fields can run

It isn’t even a question. It’s definitely Wilson.

Given that he was given only one series’s today I would have to say Wilson. I hope I am wrong.

We’ve talked about this. I want to know before heading into the draft what needs to be done at QB.

I’ve made it clear a number of times I’m simply hoping that Fields puts it together this year and if he doesn’t then you know you have to draft a QB.

I have zero excitement about Wilson. Think you guys are going to be trashing him by week 4 which is how long I give him before they switch to Fields.

Don't worry Blast, I don't see Wilson lasting very long with that O-Line, so you'll probably get your wish sooner than later. FWIW, I'd rather see Fields starting myself

I have zero excitement for either qb. I understand you want to see what we can do with Fields, but watching him for 3 seasons at Chicago wasnt enough? Are da Bears qb killers? You think we can actually salvage Fields?

Brady was right in interview with Stephan Smith, NFL is killing rookie qbs by starting them right out the gate.

Right, poll is unnecessary. We already know who Tomlin is going to start.

Clearly the coaching he has received has been subpar and having multiple coaches has not helped either. I believe Tom Arth is probably the best coaching he will have received to date.

Having said that, I still understand he may not be fixable regardless of how much he is coached up.

Flaws or not though, he still is the better option as he is better suited for Smiths offense.

Agree with Arth, definitely giving Fields a chance to improve . But, some of his flaws may not be fixable, as you stated. Can he fix his pocket presence, can he fix throwing a wr or te open? If and when he comes into replace Russ, what happens if Fields gets hurt running? If you pulled a healthy Russ what is the ambient in the room going to be like? Will Russ come back in without throwing a fit or are we going to our 3 string qb?
Lots of ifs and buts, if it were candy and nuts it would be Christmas year round. Cheers my man, and heres to a great Steeler season!

Wilson has already been where he's going. He may be ok as a bridge this year (if he stays healthy), but we may have a diamond in the rough with Fields. I liked what I saw today from Fields, however small of a sample it was. The potential is there, but he's not going to learn much watching Russ from the sideline. I hope this kid gets a chance to prove himself here, and I mean soon. The future may be here right now, but we're not going to know unless Fields gets a full year in as a starter

It is Wilson, but I don't think he has a very long leash. If he's 3-4 games in and looking like trash, we could easily see him replaced with Fields. It sucks that we don't have that "heir apparent" for the future of the franchise, but we have two capable starting QB's. We essentially had 0 last season. I know Mason saved our season, but I don't really view him as a viable starter. Not for more than a single season as a spot starter.

    Simple question...
Was Fields involved in 4 fumbles, and two dropped ints in the 3 preseason games as a Steeler??? Yes, or No.
If it's yes....no matter who you may want to blame.... is that the best choice for winning games???.....especially knowing His past history of....30ints, and 34 fumbles in less than 3 seasons.
