Everyone wants to criticize

Everyone wants to criticize the qb play the last 2 pre season game, but not one single person has even mentioned that Harris only has 26 yard rushing and Warren has 12 yards rushing.

Funny that most is putting it all on the QB’s. Those rushing numbers clearly makes you see why that it isn’t all on Wilson or Fields, But the POOR offensive line play.

just found it funny all you hear is Wilson sucked, Fields sucked. But NADA saying it about Harris or Warren.

 

All I hear is the O line sucked and those two don’t posses enough or didn’t display enough skill to get anything productive around it.

And a LOT of focus on the line coach, Arthur Smith, and Tomlin.

The qbs are a part of the blame but the least that I mention.

 

We are doomed.

 

You may be right this time. I've been reading a lot of OPINIONS in sports mags and they don't think highly of us.

 

Colin Cowherd is right. Steelers need to modernize to today's NFL and hire a HC with background in offense. How many more years of inept offense are we going to endure?

It's preseason. There isn't anything meaningful to criticize. I do hope we look better during the season than we have in the few quarters of preseason play though. Kenny ball was painful... I'd love to see us do quite a bit better than that in 2024.

They haven’t tried to run it much. Because they have been in 2nd or 3rd and long situations. The offensive line has been terrible it starts with them. You can’t evaluate the RB’s or QB’s until the offensive line plays well.

yes I do realize that and I also realize that Wilson and Fields has thrown 33 passes and has completed 24 passes for 206 yards.

Being overly concerned about preseason is absurd. However, concern about the overall offensive philosophy of the Steelers the last few years is definitely legitimate. It hasn't been fun to watch in years.

 

We will see when regular season starts what is going on.

 

Love the groundhog day reference. Tomlin has a horrible offensive line.......same old crap on offense different year. This o line looks especially crappy and will be lucky to win 6 games with our schedule.

3 attempts for 9 yards, then 4 attempts for 17 yards. Small sample size but the trend is the right direction. Extrapolating for gm3; 5 attempts for 25 yards.
