I said arguably for a reason. Pickens is right up there with him. However, there is a massive problem with Pickens; something out of his control.

How is Pickens gonna do much of anything if the QBs have little to no time to throw it to him?!

GP needs to improve on his route running and consistency to be a number 1. He also needs a QB to deliver the ball to him. The first part could happen this year but the 2nd? Doubtful.

He had over 1,000 yards receiving and led the league in YPC last season, with three average QBs .

Hopefully the O-Line will begin to gel a bit when the season starts, it's been ugly out there so far in pre-season

QB is bottom of the league. GP is not even top 20 (much of that is to do with our QBs and 1945 offensive strategy) Najee might be the closest we have but he’s more like top 15 possibly.

Yeah he’s a big play guy boom or bust. Needs to work on intermediate route running and consistency. And he has 3 average to below average QBs again this year.

Sad, but true. I'll be generous and say Najee is maybe top 12. To rush for over a 1000 yards for the last 3 seasons with that O-Line is an impressive feat in and of itself, and I don't care if the season is 17 games long or not. Not sure why some people here think that Warren, Najee, and Pickens are stars, they're a little above average, but that's about it

GP has a ton of talent but the QB play is so weak and the HC is so outdated his potential will never be reached here. He’s also immature and inconsistent but can improve in those areas with age. Najee is a high volume player which helps his numbers. Agreed though our offensive stars are pretty much middle of the road guys.

Yeah, I was going to say Najee's numbers are largely based on volume, but it's still an impressive feat with that O-Line

Pickens is certainly our best weapon. Freiermuth is a solid receiving option. Warren is a really quality all around back. Najee is meh but fine. The rest of our WR corps is meh as well. Fields can be a weapon running, as long as his passing ability is fine (which I think he's shown some progress).

We aren't a weapon poor team. These guys all would have looked drastically better with even mediocre QB play (and we saw what they did look like when we actually got halfway acceptable QB play from Rudolph). There's talent there, we just need to put our guys in a position to succeed for a change.

Pickens' ceiling is the highest, but I think Warren and Muth have a good shot at being pretty quality options across the league at their positions.

I don’t disagree with this I guess I was more or less comparing them to the rest of the NFL though. To me the only 1 who would truly be “pro bowl” type level could be GP with a decent QB. The others are all decent to possibly a little above average NFL starters.

we are not a weapon poor team. we are a QB poor team and a coaching poor team.

Those 2 things will continue to hold us back for years to come.

I think it's a combination of all 3 of those factors, but when you have a washed up has been as your #1 QB, and a bust at #2, don't expect much to come of it. With that O-Line, I doubt if Wilson even lasts for more than 3 games
