Yep he got it. Although Jim Harbaugh really should've gotten it. He helped the Ravens a lot on that goal line stand.

I wish someone would smack the gums out of suggs overly large head. You know if they don't we'll never hear the end of it from him.

It especially hurts because I still contend that Ben should have won MVP in the Super Bowl against Arizona. Holmes was good but Ben was special. That throw was amazing as far as skill and the gravity of the situation.

I think Ben should've gotten it too.

    Best joke I heard:

"Ray Lewis didn't kill the lights, but he knows who did..."

Yeah, knew that was coming but Bens still ahead in SB's. Hopefully when flacco cashes in on his new contract, it will cripple them from making any other moves and watch them wallow away at the bottom of the division

Hey Ray D congrats on the quit smoking. I smoked my last one on October 1, 1999 at 10:02 AM
On October 5, 1999 they replaced my aorta valve so I was lucky I could not drive and my wife found all my smokes and threw them out. I was smoking 2 cartons a week. Dang I saved a bunch

C'mon Jack. Ben does not deserve an MVP. Hines was a good call and I think they flipped a coin on Santurdio's MVP game
Green Bay was thinking of naming him MVP in 2010 I think

Ben definitely should have won it, any other QB orchestrates a winning drive like that and its automatic. Ben got skipped over for his off field issues.

Thats very perceptive Tomlin. As miserable as I am after the Ravens winning, you have managed to shine some light upon me. Way to take a negative and turn it into a positive.

Not saying Ben deserves it. Merely pointing out that Flacco now has one more SB MVP than he does.

Ben could have been named MVP of SB 43 though.

None of Ben's SB performances were as good as Flacco's tonight.

I shouldn't say this because wife beating is by far no laughing matter. However, that Suggs part you wrote is to funny !

Well, the Super Bowl against the Cards was pretty memorable but that's mostly because of the last drive. The two picks against the Packers cost us the game. And the SB against Seattle was abysmal, mostly because of crap like this:

Sadly it's probably true as well. I mean didn't he actually beat her and THEN drag her down the road or beat her WHILE dragging her down the road? It was one way or the other I think.

I've always felt like the Mendy fumble was the nail in the coffin but Ben throwing a pick 6 was worse I'd say if I really thought about it. That play right there alone is one of the reasons I'm glad BA is not here anymore.

Yes, and let me add to that ...he not only beat and dragged her, but he did it WHILE THEIR TWO KIDS WERE WATCHING !

Good grief man. These guys are the lowest of the lows. And yet the league and media are celebrating them tonight. Why is that punk not in jail???

To me, the icing on the cake was that no-brain hack Simms saying over and over how good the holding no-call was for the Ravens, then as they were showing the replays, I think he said "wow, he does have quite a hold on him there.... but still a good no call?????" Don't like the fade in that situation, but it was amazing how competent the 49ers offense was....until the last series. The brain just turned off.

Another great thing about the season being over....no more Simms for several months! (BTW, who picked out Cowher's and Nantz's ties? Did they know that people were actually going to be watching today?)

    The season is mercifully over!
