No worries they can always trade for Green to man the center spot :lolol:

I think Frazier is ready. You can't grow if you don't play. Now depth is an issue.

Spencer Anderson is the jack of all trades, and can play all 3 O-Line positions. But, it was Ryan McCollum who was running with the 2nd team offense against Buffalo.

Ryan has been on and off the Steelers practice squad since 2022.

I have had a torn rotator cuff from playing tennis. Recovery from surgery takes 6 months. Nate is done for the season most likely.

I feel bad for Herbig, but it might be a blessing in disguise for the Steelers having Frazier out there instead. Doesn't give them much depth at center though

Rather have the team roll with McCollum for game 3. Make a decision then. This is his second season with the team. Let us see what types of strides he has made since his Rookie Season.

i understand that but anderson hasn't been playing center much this year so far. i'll bet he get's more reps now. i know that we have gotten to our 3rd center a few different years. they need to be ready incase. i know mccollum is the backup now. he was the 3rd guy prior to this and hasn't played guard here. game day changes things like that. we only dress so many.

this was the only way Tomlin was going to start him, which is a shame. Hope Herbig heals well, but wanted Frazier to start. He will be a stud.

yes, this OLINE is very young. Will take time to gel.

Blame the FO for a terrible plan , for years.

Colbert and Tomlin sucked in planning. Najee should not have been drafted. OL should have been #1 pick that year.

Wouldn't surprise me none. They need a warm body, and I guess Cole is better than nothing

They were reporting last week that Mason McCormick was taking center snaps in practice last week.

I don't know if Mason has ever played center before? I remember people talking a lot about Daniels having Center experience on this board.

This is on Tomlin and his whole position flexibility nonsense..... Frazier is the only C by trade on the roster... Herbig is a guard.. Period!!!!!
Tomlin is messing players up with this position flexibility thing.... Kevin Dotson... Broderick Jones.... the whole Green fiasco and now this..... At what point is Tomlin gonna to be held accountable for his position decisions

Not only an injury but that’s the season for him.
No way Cole he lost all that offensive lineman weight or he would be here already

Never want to see anyone hurt but this isn't a problem. Like Nate a lot but he's a backup IOL in the last year of his contract. Frazier should have been C1 from the start but we know how this team rolls. There are plenty of other options for depth inside. On the other hand, the OT situation is a problem right now.
