Preseason week 2:Bills vs steelers

Sad that a multi-billion dollar business could further compromise their identity for more money from an insurance company of all businesses with a get it in the rear name. I am 100% with you on that.

 

I would be so happy if we had no longer preseason football...It's either ugly football when it's bad or false hope when it's good

Jones went to talk with a doctor after the game. That combined with how he has played with that brace is concerning. Sophomore Slump, position flexibility or injury. For a first round pick that showed signs of slowing down last year, we should be concerned.

 

That is a saaaad state of affairs when the lone very bright upgrade is the punter.

It's not going to work no matter how they use Wilson. Also, I doubt if Arthur Smith is going to be much (if any) of an upgrade over Canada. There were much better OC candidates than Smith available, but Rooney seems to be infatuated with mediocrity

I am not doubting that there were better OCs. My point pertains to Russell Wilson as a whole; he can only play one way.

Lol, a lot of panicking. If the OL is run blocking the way they did the last 10 or so games of last season, they're going to be ok. Nothing, I mean nothing opens up space and stats for WRs, as an effective running game. Just a matter of consistency and adjustments.

Threat of accurate mid to deep passing opens up the running game. When your qb cannot show he is a deep threat, teams cheat and only play run and defend short routes. Russel was given up by two teams because he no longer is a deep threat and Fields is just another Trubisky.

 

Not with this team. Last season we had 10 games with over 100 yard rushing games and none with over 300 yard passing.

 

What is sad, the city's baseball team scored more points then their NFL team yesterday.

 

Going to see a lot of that face this season.

 

Hang in there. I don't care what I saw last night, I'm still on board. It may be rocky at times but Russell Wilson knows how to play the position. We will be better then what we have been in these meaningless games.

Now if Wilson goes down early all bets are off.

 

what did dan moore do that was bad? he may have been one of the 2 best linemen tonight.

 

and this is a problem when Moore is a top 2 linemen for your team,even for a game
