want to see more of beanie and averett. i thought both did a good job in the last game. trice as well. scotty miller looked pretty good as well. all good to see. nice depth.

 

I think it would be very difficult

He had his typical stats in last night's game against the Patriots. 11-13, which is really good but only for 66 yards. And as usual no TD's and no picks.

 

I just watched the recap, Pats D was flying while the eagles Oline looked worse than the Steelers 1st preseason game. I don't want to speculate but his head is screwed up with the pocket passer stuff. When he'd get flushed out he was still looking to dump it and not tucking it and running.

 

I heard Beanie took a step back this week, or came back down to the reality of being an undrafted rookie trying to make the roster.

I have heard absolutely nothing about Sutton; I thought he could still practice and play preseason.

I still believe that Mike Hilton will find himself a free agent when the season begins; Bengals save $7 million if they cut him, and only have to eat $1 million to do it.

 

That's not unusual in preseason, some rooks seem to ball out and still get cut...never to be heard from again. I have no idea what they feel about Beanie, bt nearly every report I have listened to from camp gives glowing remarks, both the reporters and from staff sources. So unless he regresses very badly he likely makes the 53, or at least PS. He might not make the starting slot for that position, but his talent has not gone unnoticed.

It's great having a personal assistant who isn't even on the payroll. Reminds me of someone else.

Looks like it's mano a mano tomorrow night for first quarter. Pumped for it.

 

Will Watt play? Will Cam Heyward play? What about Fitz?

I don't know for sure but Russell Wilson will start per Tomlin

 

wouldn't surprise me if the big 3 on D sat the entire preseason.

 

It would be a great decision but it has never been the style of Tomlin to sit some starters in the preseason

 

This pre-season what interest me the most is Russell Wilson. Don't mind at all if starters on defense don't play. Obviously Wilson knows about the QB position. I'm a believer he can keep us competitive as long as we have him for 17 games.

 

I saw on a tweet that the average air yards per completion for those 11 was 0.7 yards. Which is…. Abysmal.

Kenny could have developed if he just figured out how to stand tough in the pocket and read the defense to deliver it downfield. Instead he just continues to panic and bail, only to check it down to a RB.

Hopefully one of the two we have can find a way to stand in there and make some plays downfield. I have hope for both.
