Have to give credit to Russell Wilson in his prime. He was a damn good NFL QB. Should have 2 rings so.............;)

Please don't embarrass everyone on the board by pretending that Mahomes isn't that great. And, you're going to use one SB performance as your ace in the hole? I know you're a homer, but for Pete's sake man just stop.

The guy has been starting for 6 years, and has never failed to make it to at least the championship game. He's been to 4 SB's and won 3. If not for the greatest QB ever, Mahomes would almost certainly have won 5 SB's in those 6 years. Good god.

Speaking of talent, Mahomes had a WR room last year that made San Frans receivers look like a Hall of Fame class playing a JV high school squad.. And he still beat, easily the best team in the league, in the biggest game.

I didn’t know my post was the equivalent of shooting the messenger

I read CKs post, I didnt see factual numbers. He had 10 fumbles, how many of those came from exchanges?

*Edit: I see where the confusion came from. I was specifically referring to fumbling snaps when I said it’s not a problem.

Get lost clown, the only one embarrassing themselves is you. I never said Mahomes isn't great, my point is put Mahomes on those Bears teams and they aren't winning Super Bowls.

But but it was Herbig's fault :lolol: He fumbled 38 TIMES in Chitown losing 11 of them. Gimmick.

By the way Steelpen65 like your avatar pick! :thumbs up:

Funny how I changed. Was all in on KC's first SB with Mahomes. Loved watching the guy. Now, I respect his talent but root against him big time.

I was with Eagle fans watching the AFCCG the year they played each other. Now, we should never root for injuries but when Mahomes foot looked completely twisted around they frigging cheered loud. True story, they started talking about taking off work for the SB parade.

If Fields win the job, what are the chances it happens?

    https://twsn.net/2024/08/the-pittsburgh-steelers-will-trade-russell-wilson-to-the-minnesota-vikings

I know the vikings have a different front office now but in 2016 the vikings gave a first round pick to the eagles to have Sam Bradford :roflmao: ,so maybe, just maybe the vikings will be desperate enough to offer the steelers a second round draft pick for Russell Wilson?!.....I also know Wilson has a no trade clause but playing with Justin Jefferson would be interesting for him if they don't win the number 1 QB job with us.

It's very unlikely but surprises can happen sometimes!

Our QB'S last year threw a grand total of 13 TD's and 13 picks. If it isn't better this year then the team is in a lot of trouble.

Thanks for sharing. I hope people read it and put to bed nonsensical statements like Kyle Allen being the best quarterback the Steelers have.

Even mediocre play from our quarterbacks would be a vast improvement over what we got from Pickett and Trubisky.

Mediocre in the offenses they played in last season. Wilson and Fields may both thrive in Smith's offense. Kyle Allen looked decent at times.

Russell Wilson is not a mediocre Qb. At least i hope not. No one can really know until we see him in the regular season or at least in preseason.

Fields is another chicago castoff, i have little hope he’ll be anything more than a backup and maybe hes not much better than Allen.

Unless Wilson goes down Fields is cemented as the number 2.

1000% off topic and meaningless but that picture Alex Kozora has of the buoy saying southern most point in our country is not the right. Sailors know it's the Navy base;)

Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never realized that. That is beyond terrible! How in the hell were we a Playoff team??????????

Now we are going to have a 9 time Pro Bowler who threw 26 TD's and 8 INT's. with the Broncos. Wilson STAYS HEALTHY this has to be a better team then last season.

If you think 2023 was bad, just look at 2022,it was that bad too...12 TD and 14 interception but it was enough to keep Canada for another season
