To be fair, they looked like a top 5 team in the league last preseason and then proceeded to stink it up so badly that it took Rudolph bailing the team out late in the season for them to look anything even remotely close to competitive.

 

I wonder what the beat reporters think now… do they still believe Fields will be our starter?

Why is Danny Smith still a coach in the NFL? Give this guy a pack of gum and walking papers. Give Watkins his too and tell him to drive old man Danny wherever he needs to go.

 

Its a preseason game. If they had expectations going in, that's on them.

 

It's still incredible that Danny Smith still has a job with us as ST coach even though the special teams have been average at best (outside for field goals) since he got that job in 2013...Average is the standard I guess

 

Wow this during the first preseason game. How about we wait till the regular season.

 

I can handle an odd muffed punt but the excessive chewing is unforgivable!
