I don’t want to give up any of those three. Honestly I don’t like that we have engaged again in talks. I don’t think the guy is worth it.

WOW, that is crazy for McCaffrey already to be talking about Aiyuk in the Past Tense. A former Teammate" of mine.

So we’re gonna ask Herbig to play outside zone blocking and pull? I don’t think he has the athleticism to do that.

I also think we should pass, I also feel draft picks are what niners want
and with a possiible QB selection next year the timing might not be right.

Maybe the steelers are not going to need a QB next year and I am not sure it would be a good year to draft a QB since it don't seem a deep class at this position...anyway,no risk no biscuit!

I have a feeling this year will be full of drama that shows little on the field and results.

The 49ers don't need Warren...They have the best RB in the NFL.James Daniels is more possible

Not really. 49ers will only ship him to a team if they get an offer they like, they don’t have to trade him. At that point the only thing Aiyuk is interested in is will that team give him a contract he likes.

You are right on this. I was assuming Russ spent a lot of time under center with the playaction Pass, but looking at Seattle's Under Center percentage they were always below average at about 30% of the snaps coming from under center.

Arthur Smith's Tennessee offense was always above average coming in around 55%

Really? I dont like it. Love the two headed monster we have in Harris and Warren, plus a 2 rd pick?

In all fairness, is Aiyuk going to be that good without all the other offensive weapons he had around him at San Fran?
People dont give Purdy enough credit but give Aiyuk plenty of credit.

Moore, Muth, Austin and 2nd rounder. Seems reasonable for us. Moore is dead man walking as it’s just a matter of time Jones and Fatanu take over. Muth has never been used correctly here and if we do this year and he explodes he will explore free agency. The chance of Austin hitting it big is less than 50%. Keep Daniels for stability.

I don't think Arthur Smith's offense works without Muth.

The 49ers want a starter to improve their 2024 team, so it is going to be Daniels.

I could see 2nd round pick and Muth (who has been injury prone and not used correctly but may this year) for Aiyuk and a 4th or 5th round pick back. 49ers have to realize Aiyuk wants to get paid and that must factor into their asking price aswell.

We have a blocking tight end in Washington and our poor man's receiving tight end Connor Heyward who seems to catch everything. They also brought in MyCole Pruitt who Arthur Smith is very familiar with. 2 stud WRs is better then 1 stud WR and an above avg tight end. For the 49ers, Aiyuk is known as their man to man defense beater... due to his great route running and would be focused more then Deebo Samuel when they played against man defense teams. He would open the field up so much more for George Pickens (and vise versa) then a TE would.

Aiyuk on the Steelers makes the team legit contenders right behind the Chiefs. I wouldn't trade Muth or Pickens though.
