From forcibly "retired" to Coach of the Year. If this was a Hollywood movie nobody would believe it!

 

Still don't miss him but congrats I guess. I just can't let it go. This man has caused me to wake up screaming "noooo more bubble screens!!!" "noooo more empty backfields!!!" "noooo more bombs away on 3rd and 2!!!" "pleeeeease throw it to Heath!!!" WAAAY too many times! LOL.

 

What the hell is going on here. Wow...first , the bus and Strahan doesnt make the hof and ....the raven and 49ers are in the superbowl ....and now arians get coach of the year. You're telling me that Sapp and Ogden gets in before Strahan and bettis....arians did a better job then Seattle's coach...wow!! Don't even get me started on the superbowl!

You're honestly surprised that Arians won Coach of the Year? Pagano goes down with cancer and BA steps in and leads a team with a rookie QB to the playoffs a season after the team won 2 games.

 

well is the same team that goes every year in the sb with a good qb the only year they hadn't they struggle , so nothing new in indy , at the end the did what they were usually doing with manning only they went out before because luck is not manning yet

let's talk about what the seattle coach did with a rqb and with all new team ... and they went even deeper in playoffs

 

That comes in about 3 years I'd say...

 

I was surprised Shanahan wasn't nominated. They turned things around and made the playoffs after a really rocky start and he also had a rookie qb.

 

Seattle went from 7-9 to 11-5 and the Colts went from 2-14 to 11-5... with an interim Head Coach who replaced a rookie Head Coach. Sorry, no brainer to me.

 

If Shanny wouldn't have gotten his gift horse hobbled, he might have been in the conversation. If RG regains his form in a timely manner, a major media market will have forgiven him.

 

HIRE HIM...just kidding. Even I couldn't say that with a straight face!

 

And last years colts should get an award too for purposely losing games for a draft pic. You have to believe the colts were that bad to believe BA should get the award. The nfl was more than happy to announce that Sanders faked a cramp but can't seem to grasp the colts sandbagged for Luck. BA may be a great HC but we'll know that after he puts his stamp on Arizona.

So if he doesn't make the playoffs in his first year there that somehow discredits everything else he's done and is proof that he's a bad coach?

Now all BA has to do is get the Cards to the playoffs this year and he will be hailed a genius, if he gets them to the super bowl and wins, he will be hailed as coach of the century, this guy is on a streak of luck that seems to be in line with the Midas touch....
