    He better improve his blocking.

He is going to be used like Kelce in being a receiving threat. Right now he is receiver #2. He will chip as he is going out on a pattern. He is not a natural blocking tight end.

I believe an extension is imminent. Of course Steeler friendly :hehehe:

I'd like Pat to get extended, but we need a healthy full season out of him. Injuries seem to be his biggest issue a lot of times.

Lets hope it is extremely Steeler friendly, a raise is not warranted

I'm sure it will be heavy incentive laden due to his injury history.

Muth is set for a good season. The man will be getting paid. I'm not sure at this point the Steelers can afford to lose him.

Nobody's hating, just stating facts. Not sure if he has ever played a full season
in his 3 years. His blocking has been negatively commented on by local beat writers.

I see Heath Miller is going to Coach at some private school in VA. That guy spoiled me and a lot of other Steeler fans

I don't know what Muth we will see game to game if we see him at all. As long as he can stay healthy and catch the balls Wilson throws at him it will be a huge plus for us.

many good TE's don't block well.

pay a fair extension.....and extend him

    very easy decision.

solid TE, can be very good receiver.

    we have #80 to block.

Now people are going to get to see how good Muth can be. Night and day from Canada to Smith. From a OC that doesn’t know TE’s exist to an OC that features them in his offense. One of the players I am looking forward to seeing the most this season.

HE wasn't afraid to block and could catch.

He was a one of a kind, for sure.

Muth is smaller, not as strong. But he can be a better pure receiver IMO. the game is / has changed.

Muth is an above average TE.... when he's healthy.

He reminds me of the TE we had from Chargers in Ben's later years. Dude was good when he played.... but he hardly ever played.

Reading Pat 'Muth, he will get his extension.

For that matter, I'd expect it in the next 48 hours given how Pat's agent made a surprise visit yesterday.

Given how well he has done in Training Camp thus far along with Arthur Smith's immense usage of Tight Ends, think Muth is going to go off this time around; something that is desperately needed.
