He woke up with a calf strain

 

LOL... OK, so who had Justin Fields getting all the 1st team reps for the 1st 2 days of camp?

 

Fields woke up with a brain strain.

 

Brain cramp.

 

day to day...."just like the rest of us"

 

I have heard/read that it is his calf, and also that it is his quad. Not that it makes a difference but does anyone know which it really is?

What is even funnier nobody could figure out why the Steelers were talking to QB Ben DiNucci early in the week; maybe Kahn has a crystal ball somewhere and knew he was going to need a 4th arm for camp, even though the Steelers already had 4 guy under contract.

 

Why is a 35 yr old QB pushing a blocking sled? Did they make Ben do that in his final seasons?

 

Sign of things to come? I mean what if he takes a few shots in a game?

 

I was at camp today. Wilson did some individual passing and handoff drills, and then did some more passing practice after camp was over, so he's back out there, but still didn't participate in team drills/practice.

 

This little calf strain has given Fields some time with the 1's. His inconsistency's have followed him from Chitown.

Wilson will be back on Tuesday i'm sure and not a moment to soon.

 

If it were the regular season, I am guessing Wilson would be out there. Just precautionary probably.

 

Not a good sign. If he's inconsistent during noncontact drills, it's only going to get worse once the pads come on.

 

Yeah, were drafting a Qb in round 1 of the 2025 draft.

I just hear that Russell Wilson is getting an MRI today (Monday). Seems they could have done this last week; I guess they waited until the day off.

 

Give him some midol and rub some dirt on it.
