I am not sure Thomas has played 10 games since the 2020 season....So no to him

Why do you keep pushing this terrible idea? Thomas is cooked. He has completely broken down physically.

I know, I know. I just don't want to give up a 1st round draft picks for a WR that is on the 5th year option of his rookie contract, demanding a brand-new extension before he has ever played a down in Pittsburgh.

I would gladly listen to any other Free Agent WR possibilities you can come up with. I am worried the Steelers are backing themselves into a corner about signing a WR before the season starts.

That's the problem. They are going to have to trade for someone if they want to add one that isn't just a scrap heap reject.

That doesn't mean Thomas makes any sense.

That's the problem. There isn't any other free agent options. The Steelers have backed themselves into a corner here. Adding Michael Thomas would just be adding another bum to the collection.

Thomas would bring some veteran leadership (à la Allen Robinson) but not much more. Unfortunately, the cupboard is bare. Hoping Wilson will take full advantage of the opportunity and have a rookie year that’s comparable to JuJu’s

Didn’t realise that. He is likely not in consideration then.

He could be a option as plan B(if the steelers can't trade for Aiyuk)if JuJu can still run

I forgot how young he was when we drafted him, only 27 now. I really would not give any credence to his play last year, the Pat's were lousy overall, I don't know how he would fit in Smith's system, but always liked JuJu.

I'd take Ju Ju back! I would rather sign him than break the bank for Aiyuk.

What ever his deficiencies are ... Ju Ju would do nicely in Arthur Smith's system.

Steelers should just tell SF there moving on and sign someone else. This is getting beyond ridiculous.
