Song was played constantly by sisters. When I dug "mama told me not to come" and they said it was bad that is when I knew we would go very different paths.

Can't remember if I posted this one before. I think it was a different track of theirs.

Apparently Prince was feeling like he got snubbed by not being listed in Rolling Stones' Top 100 Guitarists" not too long before this was performed.

I'm also kind of surprised that Clapton wasn't involved in this performance since he actually played (uncredited) on the original.

I saw this a few years back and loved it. Always dug that Beatles song. IMO Prince was best SB halftime show. He kicked that guitars ass in a heavy downpour.

Have no clue why, but this tune was in My head since I woke up this morning, and I can't make it stop.

I'm always singing that damn song. I must have watched the video 100 times when it came out.

Also watched Cradle of Love about a million times cause that chick fired me up and obviously still does cause I just watched it for first time in a long time.

Covered him in the RIP thread but I was surprised how old the dude was (and still around) and all those he sponsored/sprung from his own band. Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Taylor...... :applaud:

I never seen this video, but I've heard this before, and I thought it was Tom Petty.

Isn't Mike Campbell part of the "Heartbreakers" and writes/wrote a lot of their songs? He wrote Boys of Summer but Petty didn't want it and took it to Henley who added some and it became a huge hit.

I'm only laughing because of the Buccos part in your comment. I'm a huge Presley fan.
