I’m sure this is posted elsewhere but I couldn’t locate it.

Man did we ever get screwed end of year with not only the teams we play but some of the short rest times as well. We Play KC on Wednesday after playing the Ravens the Saturday before. Complete BS. Not only will it be difficult to win that game but guys are more likely to be injured on a short week. NFL needs to stop this crap.

It will be the same thing for KC,ravens and the other is Texans I believe but yeah it will be brutal.....I just hope to win a game during this period.....They face the eagles in Philadelphia before that and the steelers have not won a game in Philly since 1965,before the Noll era....

they need to STACK WINS early in the season.

they may go .500 the 2nd half of the year (or worse.......or better!!!)

and that is FINE as long as they are 6-3, the first half

Yea it is imperative to get off to a good start otherwise it could get ugly come December. Cant afford to drop winnable games.

ON PAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I said in another thread did anyone expect to go 5-1 against the AFCN last season? Most were hoping for a split with Bengals and some were thinking Joe B would kick our ass twice.

A lot can change due to key injuries. Heck, Russell could be smoking back-ups by the time second half of schedule starts.

Ok .....explain how it will be the same for the Ravens, and the Chiefs (should have know that You would somehow find a way to stick up for them).....Neither is facing their entire division at the end of the season, back to back to back, and the last SB champs.....so besides just sticking up for the Ravens, and KC like You always seem to do.....how will it be the same for them???

I was only talking when those team will have about the 3 games on 10 days..They will have the same rest,it was only my point....relax a bit!

True that the second half of the steelers is brutal

A Sat to Wed game is no different than a Sun to Thur game, in theory. But the time of the year after a long season, playing that many divisional games in a short span (very physical), I think makes a very brutal stretch for the team.

If the Steelers aren't 7-2 after the first 9 games then they are not making the playoffs. I see maybe a 2-6 record the last 8 games but as people have already pointed out injuries to our opponents QB's could change the season dramatically.

Was thinking the same thing barring QB injuries mainly to Burrow or Mahomes this team best be 7-2 after 9.

They need to at least split the division games, or with a little luck go 4-2. Then pull off a few upsets along the way.

Agreed, they need to win at least one of the games against Dallas, Philthydelphia or KC

See, I think the Steelers are absolute WINNERS for this Christmas Day matchup. Facing KC on a short HOLIDAY week favors the Steelers so much. The Chiefs will either fly out late monday night, or early Tuesday, giving the Steelers 2 extra days of practice to prepare for the Chiefs.

True, his only win against the Steelers was against Duck Hodges in OT and then only after a Juju fumble.

be careful for what we wish for.

we beat him last yr. b/c his suck WRs dropped 2 wide open TD passes. Should have been down at least 17 points at halftime.

    Be careful

It was a game that both teams deserved to lose...It was that bad!...Of course, the Ravens were much better after that

We will see what the season holds for the schedule. Injuries obviously are a determining factor, but so is the fact that many teams are over/under-rated going into the season. Also just the wild-ness of the Steelers when it comes to big games vs. easy games. We're just as likely to lose a home game against the Giants as we are to get a win against KC. The divisional matchups are always hard (and it sucks to have them all stacked on top of each other at the end of the year), but its all going to boil down to health. If we can stay healthy in key areas, there's no reason to doom and gloom the end of the year. We will win our fair share of those games.

That’s true but career wise we have owned him. One of Mike Ts best coaching jobs.
