Being that you’re such a huge fan of the Steelers it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you that the Steelers missed the playoffs the year after winning the Super Bowl under Cowher and Noll.

i am similar to you, except that I was done w Cowher after the Tomczak / _KENT GRAHAM__ era of 1998 - 2000. Was ready to fire him then. Then Korkie saved his hide.

I see what you are saying, but, you are no where near winning a superbowl if you cant win a playoff game. This has been the standard for 7 years! You,honestly,with a straight face can tell me this is acceptable?! Me being a Steeler fan finds it very disappointing.
I get all the injuries, bad luck. There is still only one common denominator, as we have had many different players come and go, sorry its coach T. All great regimes had downfalls and led to changes at the helm. Hopefully, coach T got a year of magic left this season, if not its time, perhaps time to move on

Its not about that! Did they go 7 years in a row without winning a playoff game? IDC about never having a losing season, we went 6-10 under Cowher, yes that sucked. But we came back and won Superbowl. Comparing Tomlin to Noll and Cowher is absurd. Yes Tomlin is a Good HC, Cowher was a Good HC. Noll was a Great HC

Mike stuck with mitch rather than admit his mistake Noll did not give the starting q.b. slot to Terry after Terry won our 1st s.b. Noll made good players great while tomlin makes players his buddies . tomlin is a good person while Noll was hard to play for and demanding . Iam want a strictly merit coaching approach. Mike is too soft to be The steelers H.C.
