The Pirates had another game is which the bats went ape **** on the opposition. Tonight, I bet they won’t be able to score any runs.
The bottom third of the lineup looks like the roster of an American Legion team. Taylor allegedly plays well defensively, but he would have to be the triple clone of Tris Speaker to justify his stick being in the lineup.

 

Well I'll be. Sure that was a loss last night. Joey Bart is our guy I'm guessing.

Pirates can't seem to put W's together. I'm still saying this team is best since 2018.

 

There was a time in the past 10 years (as I recall) that just before the AS break the Pirates had to play the Brewers 5 times in 3 days with 2 make up double header games. The Pirates were middle of the road that year (as usual) and the Brewers were solidly in 1st place. Somehow the Bucs won all 5 games and us long time fans were giddy and expecting a great 2nd half. Nope, Pirates laid another big sh*t burger the rest of the way and probably finished 30 games back. Perchance to dream.

 

my wife loves the Pirates. I had to get Direct TV in order to watch the sportsnet channel. We try and watch as many games as possible. We toast after a win and gripe after a loss. Fun

 

I have this fantasy we sweep the White Sox and win 1 of next 2 against Brewers to be 48-48 at the ASB. Then explode in the second half. It won't happen but one can dream.

 

Hey not sure if you guys have a desktop commuter but it's around 100 a year to watch any game you want at MLB.com. You can watch on an i-phone but it's annoyingly tiny. I bought a 32 inch desktop which is decent. I could pay around 225.00 a year and get the Comcast package but I don't need a 50 inch TV to watch the Bucs.

 

By the way, my wife is a Phillie fan, any chance we can trade?? I'll give you cash and future hot chick prospects.

 

Breaking news…. Listening to the Fan… pirates are strong candidates to get RF Taylor Ward from the Angels… strong feelings that this will be done before end of Brewers series.

Pirates too inconsistent one day high scoring next nothing put it all together or its same old SUCCOS

If Bucs do get Ward it's good for the team only if Bobby boy doesn't give away to much. I hope they don't say Ward plus cash cause cheap ass Nutbag will trade half the team plus rights to the Roberto Clemente bridge

At present Ward is .238 / 14 HR's / 44 RBI's That's Buc booty right there.

Pirates down 6-0 in the 7th. No damn wonder, the dumbasses used up all their runs last night.

 

They cannot put it together to win a few in a row. I got bad feeling about Skenes today. Can't win em all. I think I predicted 6 under at the ASB. We can be .500 by winning next 4

 

The rumor was they want Bubba Chandler. That needs to be a no.

 

I get pittsburgh sports net that shows every pirate game as part of my cable package. MLB.com blacks out in home games. They consider harrisburg as part of their market so I would miss a lot of games

 

Skenes pitching effectively when men are on base but his pitch count is already a crazy 41 after just 2 innings. Lots of foul balls and not swing and misses. He'll be lucky to go 5 innings at this rate. Bucs bats are quiet as usual against a so-so pitcher.

 

Skenes getting lots of strike outs (and no hits) but 63 pitches through 3 innings. Bullpen beware. Worried about his young arm. The so-so Brewers pitcher has 6 K's so far as well.

 

Wow. 10 pitches, 3 more K's in the 4th. No hits. Come on bats - wake up. Don't waste another great pitching start.

This is just unbelievable. No lumber at all for our Bucs
