Actually I think one of Tomlins few good coaching jobs comes against Lamar. We play him well.

I haven’t played Madden since I was younger but I would think you could run with him all over the field.

Lamar wants them to visit him so that they can work on blocking downfield when he takes off running.

As the article states, Lamar missing out on OTAs contradicts his intentions. Even if Lamar wanted to nab more Training by himself given how OTAs are not required by players, wouldn't it have made more sense to invite those Wide Receivers to join him?! Seems self defeating to ask now with Training Camp weeks away if you ask me.

Biggest issue for Lamar is showing he can beat Mahomes in the playoffs. If not, he isn't getting a Lombardi and the chase for one isn't getting any easier.

Not saying You are, but.....Let's not act like Mahomes is Lamar Jackson's only obstacle.. ..If I remember correctly He is 2-4 in the playoffs , and has only played KC once......so 3 other losses to other teams.....I believe His only 2 wins came against a rookie Qb(CJ Stroud), and Tennessee.

I visit AFCN message boards when Steelers are playing one of the three. First glance at that post I thought I clicked on the Ravens board.

To be fair Ben's last playoff win was, checks notes, A.J. McCarron and he put himself in many of those deep holes by starting slow.

Ben made it to 3 SBs. Ben was not as good in the playoffs as he was in the regular season but he was much better than Lamar.

Steelers defense giving up 30 and 40 burgers didn’t help the cause either.

It doesn't help when you put the defense down 7 before they even take the field then give them an inside the 40 look on their first snap. I'm with you on being better though. It kind of tarnishes Lamar a little more because they decided he was MVP twice!

The turnovers hurt unquestionably but it doesn’t mean your defense has to completely fold the rest of the game because of them. I mean if he threw 5 pick 6s sure it’s not on the D.

There's a lot of emotion on the field. A team that's riding high can accomplish more than they should be able to. And on the other side, a team in the dump is going to perform below their expected level of play. In that specific circumstance, where you're down by seven and your first defensive snap is inside your own 40, you're being set up well to be defeated mentally. It doesn't excuse the play, but it does explain it.

Ben's game play really only dips in an increase in picks. TD% within a half a percent, completion % a 1% difference, yards a game higher in playoffs by 2 yards... but his INT % goes up a full percent and his rating goes from 93 to 87. The Steelers lost playoff games for a number of reasons ( a slight dip in play by Ben being one of them), but Ben isn't the only reason.

Jackson is a huge dip in production. TD% down nearly 3%, completion % down 7%, passer rating down 23 points, INT% up a full percent.... Lamar is pretty much the reason why the Ravens haven't advanced farther in the playoffs. His poor play has been the main driving force behind the Ravens post-season collapses.

I was one of a few on this board who rooted for Lamar to get a big, salary cap sucking contract from the Ravens. I’m happy so far with that contract. As time goes on, it should get even tougher for the Ravens to build around him. The gift that keeps on giving.

You would have thought that Tyrod Taylor almost beating the Bengals would have shown them something. If not for that Goal Line fumble taken all the way back, they probably hold on to win that game.

That's one of the driving reasons it will be a long time if ever, that you see what the Patriots did. There were a bunch of guys not taking that premium contract and making it up in "endorsements" and Business ventures.

Nope. Ben's last win was vs. Alex Smith and the Chiefs in '16 playoffs.

As it stands, KC is the final boss of the Conference. Until another team can beat KC repeatedly as AFC Title Contenders, the Conference is Kansas City's to lose. For that matter, until Lamar can defeat the likes of Mahomes, he can expect more of the same.
