Anyone see the latest pictures of Pouncey? After he retired he lost a MASSIVE amount of weight! So did his twin brother Mike. Good for them! I know some guys take it off when they don’t have to carry that weight any more, like Faneca, and some others struggle with weight and develop diabetes and heart problems (Refrigerator Perry comes to mind). Anyway, it is good to see a success story. I am sure the Pouncey brothers’ knees and hips thank them.

Faneca took up road cycling. Can't be fat and do that hobby. Looks like he plays basketball and never played football.

After wearing “Free Hernandez” hat in public in 2013, Maurkice posted : “ I fully recognize the seriousness of the situation involving my former teammate, and I regret that my actions appear to make light of that serious situation. I apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions.”

    I mean...

Being at that weight for the rest of ones life isnt ideal; doubly so with the health risks no less.

I don't think so. Here's a pick I came across of their parents:

No surprise that ex players drop weight. Heavy lifting and major work outs, caloric intake of epic proportions, nutritional supplements oh and the performance enhancers are gone.

Less bulk up and more cardio and a positive nutrition plan.

Its quite amazing to see the transition not only for Steelers ex players but around the league.

Not a surprise for me. They usually do one of two things.....lose a bunch of weight, or get fat. This guys are athletes that had to consume more calories to keep them at that size than most people can eat in a day.

I wonder what their weight is now compared to
    Their playing weight?

Insane difference. Either a workout and eating regimen that can't be imagined, or some serious drug use.
