Yes, you tried manipulating the available data to prop up your argument so I provided a broader perspective demonstrating why you are wrong. Before you go for smug next time you might want to make sure you were doing a better job of keeping up with the conversation. Thanks.

“Enlighten me?” I don’t know if the board software can handle the length of the response you may get to that one.

hope it gets UGLY in San Fran and PRETTY in Pittsburgh!!

now, that said - don't like his tactics. Need to remember this is 'how he rolls' - and plan on maybe 2-3 years with him, then cut ties.

I'm glad You had that part at the end.....because I was just thinking.....Cam who has played his whole career here is getting raked over the coals for this....yet some want to pay top dollar for a Wr that is doing it to His team, and if He does I to his team....no telling what He will do to the next

I don't know if I want Aiyuk, or at least don't break the bank for him. I think he benefits from all the other great players on that team. If he comes to the Steelers, which are not as talented, he is not going to put up the same type of numbers.

It is funny because I have heard the exact same argument going the other way, because of all the Pro Bowl talent around him there are not enough passes to go around.

Put him on a team where he is the main guy and his numbers would increase significantly. In 2023 he had 75 receptions for 1,342 yards

    • Aiyuk's lack of eye-popping surface-level numbers has many questioning his talent: The absence of volume isn't indicative of his abilities, though. In the past 10 years, only six receivers have hit 3.0 yards per route run over a season, Aiyuk being one of them.

I see you have resorted to name-calling and whining because I dared to point out the flaw in your argument and the misleading data used to try to prop it up.

This started with the question of what the 49ers have won with Aiyuk. Never mind that he helped them get to the Super Bowl last season. Then you tried to prop up that nonsense by comparing some of his playoff statistics to Van Jefferson's and completely ignoring the massive difference in their regular-season production and that Aiyuk's production is trending in the right direction while Jefferson's is not. It was a poor claim supported by incomplete and intentionally misleading evidence. It has nothing to do with the summer. I always have a low tolerance for such dishonest nonsense.

Translation: I'm right and you have no answer other than this lame, repetitive nonsense. Thanks for playing.

He didn’t go to the next level until after McCaffery showed up.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence. Just my opinion though.

Yes he can help us, but he ain’t worth what the price will be.
