Look at the Bucs uniforms tonight. I think but not certain that Sheetz is partnering with our boys. May see a Sheetz patch on them.

Begs the question, what the hell is a Sheetz?? I'm guessing it is like our WAWA's.

MLB list the probable starters for each series. When I check the Pirates are always 75% TBD. Shelton can't make up his mind.

No. He's a master of deception and likes to spring a 'Bullpen Game" randomly on their opponents. Tough to scout for such strategy.

I used to work for a State agency and traveled all over the state. Been in just about every Sheetz and every Wawa. They are equivalent except that Wawa has (or had) really good coffee, for a convenience store.
My least favorite place is Waffle House, damn things are all over the South but there is one in Washington Pa. Disgusting and greasy, the way they like it down there I guess. I would describe Waffle House as a gas station bathroom that serves waffles.

It is amazing how far pitching has come, as far as speed goes. Mlodzinski, a really ordinary pitcher, is throwing mid 90s. The hardest throwing guys when I was a kid were Maloney, Gibson, Drysdale, Koufax. Regular guys throw like that now.

Was a big deal when Gossage was with Pirates. Did he ever hit 100 mph or was it around 95?

I seem to recall high 90s. They had another guy, Terry Forster, who was just a bit slower than that.

When the Pirates began taking a gluteal pummeling, I turned the game off. They really need Trevor Bauer out of Mexico, if he is still pitching well. And something resembling an offense.

Jones pitched a good game. Once he settled down he kicked ass. I'm assuming Shelty will pull him after 7.

'Bucs up 4-2 going into Bucs half of 7th.

I guess the folks who went to the game got their money’s worth (as well as getting roasted). Cruz hit one into the river, Jones was wild but got the job done. Nailed one guy on the foot and gave another a scary beaning. Two games under .500 with Pornstache pitching tomorrow in the rubber match.
I like the odds. Hope he does not have his first bad game. At some point he will.
