Just interested in who those owners might be?

 

Damn I wish we were 1 game under going into tonight's game. Had a chance Skenes going tonight. Now at some point the guy is going to lose a game for sure. I'm just hoping it's not until Bobby boy trades him for future superstar prospects.

That was a strange challenge that almost turned that game around

 

They looked like a complete steam tonight. Tough game they hung on

 

Was hitless for 7 innings… still found a way to win.

Outside of Ben Heller’s well-documented challenges this week, the Pirates’ bullpen as a whole has started to turn a corner, too. Take away Heller’s two outings, and the rest of the Pirates’ relievers have yielded four earned runs in 31 ⅓ innings in June, good for a 1.08 ERA.

I was griping about the low batting avgs the Pirates got, but there is a lot of teams that dont have a 300 hitter.
Does the pitch clock have an affect on hitters just as well as pitchers?

 

Never thought about it, but it might. I assume they can’t step out as much and try to upset the pitcher’s rhythm.

 

Skenes pitched a gem. Wonder how far out of a wild card they are now?
If they had two more average hitters I would like this team a whole lot better.
