Which team the steelers will face in week 1?

Strong possibility of Week 1 SNF at Denver. This city is next on our list for away stadiums. I hope it is indeed a week 1 match up with Russell Wilson against the team that gave him away. All I have to do wait for the schedule and then check air BNB’s and then tickets. Wife wants to go to some hot springs.

 

I hope the bye week is reasonable... anywhere from mid October to mid November. Steelers will probably get shafted and get a week 3 bye.

 

Hopefully it’s beyond week 9. Those early bye weeks are pretty much useless.

 

week 5 is the earliest you can have a bye now

Steelers had a week 2 bye in 2001. That is wrong on so many levels. This was back in the AFC Central days with 6 teams.

 

End of November would the best

 

I believe they are having 3 games on Christmas this year. Weird that 6 teams will be playing on a Wednesday.

 

Pony up for that netflix and or amazon subscription. If you live out of market.

 

I caved to the YouTube corporate greed and got to watch a whopping 3 Steelers games I wouldn't have seen otherwise last season.

I think the Steelers will gladly take a Wednesday Home game Dec 25th against the Chiefs.

 

If were playing the Chiefs on a Wednesday Dec. 25th I bet the bye for both teams is either before or after that game so it appears we will have a late season bye. I just hope we have less monday, sunday night and thursday games this year. Honestly I prefer 1pm Sunday games the most.

 

ummm....the next game after christmas is the end of regular season...so,no, we wont have a bye after that game...and probably not before, either

 

some sites are reporting that we will have 3 away games to start the season...Atlanta,denver,Ravens...we shall see

 

That’s not great, but maybe it’ll help build some team camaraderie.

 

Yeah your right. Not good. The NFL is getting a little too careless scheduling these games all in effort around greed. I get it but at some point they have to consider player safety here. There not going to be happy until one of their star players like a Mahomes gets hurt in a game like that because of the short week. Somehow I feel like the Steelers will be the one to suffer the injury during that week. Then to add insult to the situation we all know the Steelers will have to travel to Baltimore that last week.

 

Last time that the chiefs had played a regular season game in Pittsburgh(week 2 in 2018) the chiefs had more TD that 3rd down attempts!!!

It was such a domination by their offense

 

Completely sucks the Steelers are playing on Christmas. They will play on the Saturday prior to the Christmas game against the Ravens, apparently.
