The 'boys have to restructure and keep him, overpaid for more years to fit in Parsons and the WR, or let it ride and hope they can hold it together this year and let him walk. Atlanta kind of played a reverse card, have young talent, bring in Kirk and hope he can do something he has only done 1x, win a playoff game.

 

I see Bobby Kennedy Jr. said that he is strongly considering Aaron Rodgers as his running mate. I wonder how the league will deal with this. I can't imagine Rodgers giving up his NFL career to run for Vice President and you wouldn't think the NFL would allow him to do both. And what do the Jets think of this? They can't be too happy with this distraction.

The injury part yes. But not just about every team is putting as much money into guaranteed contracts. That was more to my point.

Last season the Steelers were strapped by injuries. But not financially at the same time.

Very true that I don’t know the specific details of each contract. Just seems a lot of eggs in a few baskets.
