It should be noted that Cowherd's co-host, Jason McIntyre, thinks they'll win five games.

 

If I remember correctly Jason is a Jets fan....so what could He possibly know about what real football looks like . LoL

 

He is just setting it up in case we falter mid season he can blame it all on Tomlin.

If the o-line can jell pretty quickly and RW gets close to the same stats he had last season, this team will easily match the same amount of wins and make the playoffs again. Book it Dano.

 

No one knows what will happen and there is always a ton of "ifs" but if last seasons team won 10 games and made Playoffs I don't see how this group can not do better. IMO we are better then last season.

 

OL can 't come out of the gate slow, have to be humming

It will be hard to be 9-2 in close game or somethings like that again...And the schedule could be much tougher too

I listen to him by default. old work van, so limited listening and he is the only one on unless I want classic rock or country. The latter are fine, but I also like talk. Increasingly I turn to music after Dan Patrick, Cowherd has never been a favorite but tolerable, anymore he just blathers crap for blathering purposes.

 

I have approached the last few seasons with the same process. We may finish last or first in the division, we may win 7 or 13. It's honestly that close, if Burrow is healthy all year Cincy can be very good, the Brown's could actually put it together and not be the Brown's (lol), the Raven's are always tough. Injuries on any team could derail the season. Except for a couple of games our schedules are pretty much identical, so it kind of silly to have any real expectations results at this point. After the first 4 games I think we will start to see how competitive teams really are.

 

Exactly we could be a better team than last year and still have a worse record.

 

I know we still have noticeable holes, but the team as a whole actually looks better, but the same can be said for any team in our division, and pretty much in the conference.

 

No team is going to fill every hole. Look at the Chiefs last year at WR. Hopefully you have enough pieces in place to overcome your weaknesses. The Chiefs had Mahomes and Kelce. Hopefully are run game and defense can make up for a lack of wr’s and the second db. If we bring back Sutton that would be huge in during up the cb room. We still need Heyward to return to form and Ogunjobi to step up to solidify the defensive line.

I think we are going to be happy with Foman Wilson. Heck all the Wilson’s. This is the year of the Wilson’s.

 

J-Mac hates Russell Wilson and thinks Fields is a scrub. And yeah, Steelers will win 5 games by early October.

 

This is like trying to read Shakespeare in grade school for the first time.

 

I am not sure about top 5, but this roster is incredibly talented. There is no reason that they shouldn't compete for a playoff spot and be a threat to win a few games in the postseason.

 

After pre season games last year, I refuse to listen to anyone until the games actually matter.
