I was kidding, but it’s pretty funny he said that.

    This is brilliant thinking.
My car has a dent so I shouldn’t change the oil.

He gets hurt, Fields takes over and season is ruined.

Sorry, I'm just bummed about the Pirates. I know they will suck but it still PO's me.

I'd say the city of Pittsburgh can't wait until the Steelers start up.

I think he will have a solid year but not put up big numbers because I think we will run the ball a lot and be successful at it.

Vegas actually has him the betting favorite to win the award.

I'm never going to pass as a Russell Wilson fan, that's for sure.
But Russell is pretty steady aside from that 1 year in Denver.

What I like, historically he throws TD at a 3:1 ratio to INt's.
What I don't like, he does take a lot of sacks.

Depending on which WR's we end up with I would figure around 3,500 yds, around 20 to 25 TD's.

He benefits coming into an Aurther Smith offensive design at this point in his career.
Smith will move him around as well as try to establish a ground game and use the play-action with some specialty plays sprinkled in.
Hopefully, the sack rate goes down. We don't want to see Wilson in a dirty uniform.

One of the main things Smith needs to get out of his receivers is to not give up on any play ala DJ. Wilson extends plays and will throw well placed bombs.
I expect 101% from those guys.

If his YPA is at 7.5 or better(It was almost always the case with a very good TD-INT ratio when he was with Seattle),I will be very happy....If our running game is solid,he has a chance....The sacks number is a concern since he can hold the ball long, but I can live with some sack in 3rd down if it mean he can convert the 3rd down and medium or long at a good rate(compared to the rest of the league) who he was able to do in seattle....Of course the o-line he had in seattle was very bad at times too since Seattle did not spend much money in the o-line in some years like in 2016 when the seahawks o-line were making 6 millions combined(!!!!!),so the sacks was not all on him

I'm hoping he's backing up Fields.

Only because Rogers will get sacked once and then be done for the season.

agreed - at least not until June 1, too much of a cap hit, new coach - highly unlikely

I expect Wilson to move the offense downfield better than Pickett and Trubisky.

I miss SDOT. He provided this board with much comic relief.

Denver gave up 70 points to Miami and Russell Wilson got blamed for not being able to match it

I agree and I know that Sean Payton hated him from the start but I still think that the fact he was benched is the reason why he is the favorite to win the comeback player of the year...I think

i saw talks about zay jones. i'm not sure he is the answer though. i kind of like who we have already. let it sort itself out. the room is not spectacular but solid. adding wilson lifts it as well.
