My dad would have given this a "Winner" rating. Took me a while to warm up to horns. Was helped along by BS&T and Chicago.

I posted some Blue Murder several pages back, but this has to be my favorite Blue Murder / John Sykes song, or at least it's up there.

Not a fan of any of the bands but BS&T did a song called "Spinning Wheel" I think. My mother played that damn song over and over. I never got into the horns. And come on man, it's Saturday in the park and you don't know it's the big summer holiday.;)

I had a girlfriend who would put a .45 of "Sir Duke" on her turntable on play/repeat as she got ready for dates. I finally flung it out the window like a frisbee!

Those 2 songs are my least favorite of either band. The real hidden gem in Chicago was the fabulous guitarist Terry Kath who got greatly overshadowed by the brass. His guitar solo in the live versions in "24 or 6 to 4" were worth the price of admission especially with a little bit of cerebral assistance. It takes a while for this live video to start the song but check out Kath's guitar parts.

Thankfully I didn't make fun asking what the hell 25 or 6 to 4 was about. I only know a few Chicago fans but they say what you say about Kath.

I had a girlfriend that did that with the following song....., and I told Her....You play that one more time , and I will throw that away. She looked right at Me , and hit replay. I popped it out , opened the sunroof, and said bye, bye. LoL.
Here is that dang song she played over, and over for a week......

I don't know how anyone could listen to them, and not love His playing.

I had a roughly 1000 mile trip to get my car home once. Problem was, I had forgotten any of my cassettes. One friend gave me two tapes that he was willing to part with. Cyndi Lauper and Sade. Cyndi made it less than 200 miles before she went out the window. Sarde lasted a little more than 100 miles further. Had to make do with either static or ranchero music on AM after that!
