    Does Patterson play WR at all? I thought he was pretty much exclusively a RB and return man now. I viewed his pickup strictly as a return man and third RB for the Steelers.

    I don't think he's Deebo Samuels type... he is mostly a RB as you say, but yes, they did line him up all over the place to force mismatches.
    I had some second thoughts on my previous statement.... It might provide a different wrinkle having both Deebo and Patterson.
    Probably should have thought that through more.

    @Steelresolve

    He was listed on the falcons roster J. Not kidding. Return kicks, WR, RB. Dudes all over the place.

    He’s probably just trying to drum up some enthusiasm for them signing back his buddy Pat Pete.

    I can't remember the name of the former poster on here who constantly ridiculed management for not trading up for DK Metcalf. He was the same one that had a coronary every time Tomlin drafted someone from the Maryland - Virginia area.

    The only thing I see is that they asked about him. There is no indication that the Seahawks are willing to trade him.

    Adams contract is obsene.

    He has a base salary of $36 million plus bonuses in 2025 and 2026. Cap hit of $44 million at 33 and 34 years of age.

    Only $25 million this year. Only.

    Gallup wasn't good last season, the Steelers didn't miss out by not signing him.

    Last season with Denver he threw for 3,070 yards, with 26 TDs and 8 interceptions, if he can come close to those numbers the Steelers are going to be good. I think Wilson had a problem of holding onto the ball too long and taking sacks with Denver, maybe why Sean Payton had a problem with Wilson. He will have a better OL and running game than he had with the Broncos, but Wilson doesn't have the same scrambling ability he had with Seattle.

    I will say 3,000 yards, 25 TD’s and 10 Int.

    More importantly 11 Wins

    He had a good season last year. Above average. I expect that he will be solid and look like a QB with experience and a good arm. He won't be a legendary QB, but he will be solid.

    The unknown factor is how much desire to flip the middle finger at Denver and Seattle does he have? If he is mad and can turn that into motivation, I could see him having a stellar season to rub it in......especially when we play Denver. What a great chance to give a heartfelt middle finger to the team that dumped you.

    I am going with 27 TD, 11 INT, 3800 yards. I will up the tds if one of our WRs turns to be a great deep threat. Outside of that, I think that our run game is going to see a lot more tds than in the previous years. That will take a bit off of Wilson's tally.
