Our QB’s won’t throw to covered WR’s as well. Austin hasn’t proven anything. Wilson doesn’t throw to TE’s and Warren will get his. Other than that outside of GP we don’t have any legit starter capable WR’s. As much as I want to replace Dan Moore he at least is starter capable.

George Pickens(1141 yards in 2023) is WR1. CA3 can play inside or outside, this will be his 2nd season on the field, and he's our PR. These guys deserve more of a chance to succeed than that other guy.

Can this room be improved? Yes, BUT that doesn't mean it is a total crap room either. I am very confident the Steelers will trade for a WR and/or draft one early in this draft. Have patience Grasshopper.

"Trading down is fruitful especially if you end up with your targets anyways". Trading down in a mock draft, when you can get totally ridiculous value and the people you want magically fall to your choice anyhow is fruitful. When you have to give up a third and next year's third to get the first trade, and get a 4th and a 5th instead of a 3rd and 4th in the real world, it changes things a lot. And there's that part where player magically fall to the spots we want them....

I am not keen on a WR in the 1st, but I’d definitely get over it if the rest of the picks land that way.

no actually would be a pretty good draft. i was reading that the steelers wouldn't let brian thomas slip past them at 20. i filled in the rest. well they did talk about sanristil in the second with that. i could get on board with this. it fills holes.
