Graham Barton is visiting the Steelers today, along with LB Peyton Wilson.

Not much has been said about Payton Wilson being drafted by the Steelers but he would be hard to pass up at #51. He's 6'4" 233 and runs a 4.43 forty. He was the best interior LB in college last season with 138 tackles, 6 sacks and 3 picks. He won both the Dick Butkus and Chuck Bednarick Awards.

That's my thought as well, an article I just read was all about his abilities, Smith visiting his pro day and the visit here, and grabbing him on that potential that he can play anywhere on the line. He may indeed become a HOF center, but instead become a very good guard. The latter is not bad, but fact is we need a plug and play ready C, not a project

Barton has 4 less starts at center than JPJ.

Barton started 5 games as a freshmen, JPJ 14 this past year, the math is off a bit. Barton may be an all pro at any position, just saying he has not done it as a C for 3 years.

I like Wilson but wouldn't draft him at #51, WR and OL are bigger needs, if he was there in the third round then yes take him.

barton could fill the need across the board. tackle first and if herbig can't do it they move barton there and go to plan B at tackle. (cook- anderson- later round draft pick like fisher or goncalves. the true center gives you one spot roughly. now they could go later round center as well leaving barton at tackle and herbig until the next center is ready.

    I wouldn't hate on it....that's a fact...., but I can't say I watched him in college.

If they draft Barton, I’m first trying him at RT and moving Jones to LT.

At this point if the Steelers don't trade up in the 2nd for a day one starting C, it's clear they have SVP, Naruzd, and Limmer rated way higher than the rest of the NFL. I know they love the G McCormick, so do I, just don't see him starting at C this year. LOVE to get him as a possible replacement for Daniels in 2025. I'm just not as high on Daniels as others have been.
