That is fair, and it is a terrible way to evaluate quarterbacks.

I'm guessing he voted for terrible. I would have liked to see a wider variety of options. I think he is going to be somewhere between okay and terrible.

I said OK, and I mean exactly that. He's gonna win you some games and lose you some. But, overall, he's another "win you 9 games" QB.

Here is the other thought I had on this. Regardless of what Fields and Wilson turn out to be, these were great moves by the Steelers, even if they both bomb. Neither cost them anything really and the these moves are the definition of very very low risk with a very very high reward.

They are only great moves if they work out. We will see. I am not as hopeful as some, but would be ecstatic to be proven wrong. I'm trying to think of a team that made changes at OC, center, WR1 and all three QBs in one off-season and it went well.

Very true but I like Wilson and Fields better then Trubisky and Pickett. I feel like there is a chance at least

I agree, actually I hope they pass on Fields option and open talks to at least extend him one year on a somewhat cheap, incentive based contract. Wilson might have a decent year,, but long term and big money just does not seem prudent. Giving Fields time, even if he (for whatever reason) takes over this year and having him under contract for another gives breathing room before having to make a decision long term on him.

I agree, but it really isnt setting the bar high. KFP n Trib, 2 of the worst in NFL. Plus another failed experiment in a qb from the Chicago Browns arrives in the burgh. And no comment on Russ

This kind of stuff is uncalled for young man!!!
We're involved in a serious poll created by an STD to submit information of peoples opinions so at a future date he doesn't have to go very far to look up input and throw it into peoples faces to prove he was right .

I actually didn't vote. Most know How I feel.....I think at His very best He will be OK. Which is not good enough .
I also find it funny that most of the people that actually commented....either think He will be OK, or terrible, but so far ,unless I missed it.....nobody that voted He will be great ,will put their name on it. LoL. I find that very enlightening.

AFC is going to have damn good QB's for awhile. Steelers won't be one of those teams.

disagree strongly with the q.b. solution not costing much ,it will cost us more time with no playoff wins than if we kept MASON. T.J.. and Cam do not have time on their side and deserve a better shot at a S.B. heck after 65yrs.as a fan , some or us deserve better than what tomlin has given us .

you mean until Rudolph played, I assume? then we saw some QB play in 2023 - it took 13 games to get there....

Yes, there is certainly a chance that it turns out great, and that's what we are all hoping for, but it's a lot of new in a short period of time, it could fail miserably as well.

Burrow is an LSU QB, he started for two years there, I'm not sure he ever started a game for Ohio State.

It could. I would be the first to admit I thought KFP was the answer for our franchise QB. Boy was I wrong.
