Well, if Simmons has enough left in the tank, he’s actually a good enough free safety to make that work.

If Simmons is willing to sign for less than 10 million then do it.

Hey you are right. He is 30 years old and if you look at his stats, he hit his peak between 2018 - 2020 and has slowly been getting a little worse every year. Definitely not worth what he was 5 years ago.

I saw Rashaad Bateman and the Ravens might be parting ways...

I would love the Stelelers to take a look at him. He was a great college receiver, and Baltimore has been the place where WR's go to die the past 20 years.

I think he could revive his career in the Burgh.

They already have a collection of reclamation projects. I'm not sure they need another one.

Given the overall mediocrity of the receiving corps after Pickens, thinking any coach can fix that group without more help would be a matter of holy unrealistic expectations, Batman.

His injury history is sort of concerning, but I think there is a "chance" it could be a Bettis/Farrior type pick up.

I don't think he is as bad as his career has been so far, I think he is on a team that doesn't make their WR's look good.

I agree. Just another 1st round Wr that slowly is trying to get out of Ravenville. It's not a new thing. There is a reason they had to pay OBJ as much as they did last year. J. Harbaugh himself has said how free agent Wrs don't want to come there.

I saw somewhere that after the draft and UDFA pickups the Steelers have 3 roster spots open. 90+1 man Roster.

They are thinking they are leaving these 3 spots open to sign more FAs and Trades.

I am thinking Bud Dupree / Markus Golden for OLB

    And, 1 more WR.

A Second Team All Pro to his credit if I recall.

Arguably the best Rookie Season for a Center in the past 20 to 30 years at the time. Easily the best within the past Decade. Pouncey was special indeed.

Like Pouncey.... Frazier will have to start game 1 of his rookie year and every game after.

We already have an older version of Deebo in Patterson.

    Agreed.

Frazier is arguably the most important player on the Steelers Offense. Having a good Center can make a major difference. Hell, look no further than Mason Cole; a major regression from his 2022 Campaign to his 2023 one.

Again, I'd be ecstatic if the Steelers could pull this off. Wonder what Sutton would want though as far as extensions go. Gonna have to come down to him.

Rules out a Boyd level receiver. Would Courtland count?

More likely talking about Deebo, Aiyuk or Jefferson type level player.
