Buc fans, what is unusual about the photo used

…..on this Matty Alou card, the one in the center?

 

the bat looks to be added in somehow to me. but my judgement is in serious question at this point.

 

Nope….more obvious than that, but someone who lived through the period of transition from Forbes Field to Three Rivers would get it.

 

I was there from Forbes to TRS but I'm having trouble seeing anything wrong. So it's nothing to do with the picture of Matty??

Damn, I keep going back to this. I'm going to get my brother in law who is 8 years older to take a look. He is the one who took me to games.

My focus is now on the emblem in the background. My tattoo is current emblem but growing up it was that one that was to nice IMO.

I found this one. The same thing is unusual as with the pictures of Matty Alou and Fred Patek.

 

This guy is killing me. I was thinking of it in the middle of the night. One friend got angry saying there is nothing unusual. Me and 2 other guys are going back and forth on what it is.

 

A story I read about the team came out with the first gold caps mid season 1970. It was done for the opening of TRS. A double knit wool cap to match the double knit gold jersey. The next season they changed the cap to a lighter gold. Do these photos have something to do with that story?

 

Sorry lads, I see nothing unusual - I thought maybe the photo was transposed and he should have been shown batting righty, but he was a lefty. Can't really make out his number. But do remember the story about the 4th Alou brother. Anyone know his name?
