Obviously EV had talent but all that hip shaking would not be impressive today. Great voice but I wonder how he'd fare in todays music culture?

I'm sure the young ladies would still swoon over his looks. Want to know what is disgusting, knowing your Mom had the hots for him. As we all know Moms don't have sex and certainly don't get turned on by men. I was raised in a household of all older females. I went from holding the foiled antenna on a tiny TV so sister's could go gaga over Little Joe on Bonanza to having to stand by record player to move the arm to replay their Elvis songs. Tough childhood

 

Sorry. While I always include Elvis in My rotation of Music I listen to....I've really been on an Elvis kick these last two weeks.

CBGB was the bomb!! The movie about it was pretty cool. Alan Rickman (RIP) did a good job as Hilly Kristal. I was never there but met a guy at a wedding and the stories he told were awesome. He was a regular and saw all the upstart bands.
